(could a mod sticky this) I have decided to make this thread (hopefully it could be stickied), where we all propose ideas for IHs, and see other members' feedback. We could also use it to collaborate on ideas for an IH and reach a compromise to make a game more appealing.

On topic, I've been planning a Napoleonic IH set in the WEF 'verse, starting in 1805 (which was where the original WEF left off if I'm not mistaken, so we've already done the Barbary and early Civil War stuff by this point). It wouldn't be a WEF-style RPG, rather you control entire countries like a classical IH, but I'll also be working the new province-based economic system into it, and as usual there will be a lot of room for RP

Already made some maps, BTW.

@Fred Don't worry about me stealing your customers While both of our IHs are Napoleonic, they have a different style and are set in different universes, so they shouldn't conflict.

Won't be necessary, there were really only a few basic types of units (Line Inf, Dragoons, etc.) in operation at this time. Thanks anyway, though. (and no, that was not meant sarcastically )

And you'd be surprised how much variety in unit types there were. Russia even used Tatar Horse Archers.

Oh don't worry, all factions will have a few unique elites and I'll let you recruit various mercs to beef up your army/make your army more awesome.

Hell you'll be able to even recruit elephants if you don't mind completely wrecking the immersion in favor of being cool...although since elephants will be scared less by gunpowder, they really will be useless for everything except the cool factor

Anyway, I have an idea. US Civil War... except GB, Mexico, France, Spain, and other nations are also playable.

I made a poll about it in the TD a few months back. The "Yes" option was greater than the "No" Option, but the mods refused to consider it.
