    Default No move highlight

When I click a unit to move it or an enemy unit to see how far it can move, there is no highlighted area to show how far it can move. I've tried clicking different armies, or splitting up my existing armies and checking for each individual unit. Still nothing.

If it helps to know, my video card is a GeForce 9800 GTX

I'm not sure what you're talking about. There are indicators for how far a unit can shoot, but not how far they can move. Any unit can move anywhere on the battlefield...

Sorry, I should've clarified, this is on the campaign map, not the battle map.

So after trying to cope with it, I found that something in my graphics is seriously messing up and I have no idea how:

In the first pic, that is what I can only imagine to be a border that has somehow completely messed up in a bizarre way, and I have no idea what that is in the second. On top of this, as mentioned before, when clicking a unit there is no highlighted area that shows how far they can move. This is kinda a serious game breaker for me. Any help?

There was an update to my video card that fixed this issue. Thanks...I guess?

Updating the drivers of one's graphics card should always be the first thing to do with graphical problems like that. It does not always solve them, but often enough. Sometimes the latest drivers can cause trouble when the old ones work fine, though. It seems to depend on the age of the card.

I've seen this posted a few times. It's clearly something to do with your drivers or graphic settings.

Clearly the movement zones do appear on the campaign map:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I'm using a pair of GTX295s in SLI with the latest official drivers (266.58), have most settings on Ultra and play at 2560x1600 resolution.

Edited: In the first screen it just looks like you are only shown the campaign map that in in your 'line of sight'. In the second screen the vertial lines don't look very good. I'd almost take a guess that was 'artifacing' which is usually a sign that your graphic card is struggling and about to overheat. Check your temperatures and maybe have a 'spring clean' of the insides of your PC - even with a dust cloth on my PC it sucks in dust. Use a compressed air canister or a photographic blower brush.
