    Default Unit move highlight absent

So I boot up Shogun for the first time, slowly go through it learning the interface, and when I click on armies, the highlighted area of how far they can move is absent. I tried clicking on my armies, clicking on enemies armies, and splitting up my armies and trying them one individual unit at a time. Can anyone shed some light on this? Having no clue how far armies can move is kind of a big deal while I'm still learning.

It should be there. Mine is a yellow highlight and shows exactly where I can move. The only restriction is map areas you can't see, but that's what ninja! is for.

There is no difference on the map whether a unit is selected or not. There is no yellow highlight on mine.

You must have a bug. It's nearly identical to Empire where you get the yellow brightened terrain.

Ships have it too, very easy to see against a blue sea. They should also have a red area around them after they've exhausted their move points. If you have none of these, that seems like a bug or graphics issue.

Maybe someone in the tech help forums could be more helpful in identifying the problem.

I have the exact same problem. There is nothing for armies movement, no rivers, or region borders. I have tried changing graphics settings and reinstalling the game and nothing works
