Does the box version come with a decent manual?

I believe its the same one as the one available on Steam.

Don't bother if the manual is the only reason why you'd buy boxed.

No the manual was utterly boring once again, it did give an overview of the new things but it was too short. They should've also included major faction overviews with their strengths and short history. More pictures would've been nice as well.

No nothing. Not even a manual. Doesnt explain anything, not even what loyalty does, what the attributes do, nothing.
I recently reinstalled M2TW on Steam and had loads fun reading the .pdf manual about things i never knew, loads of info there.
So disappointed when i saw the S2 manual, i mean it doesnt even go over basic gameplay things...

(Such as what the heck the exact differences are between day/night battles, rain/snow/sunlight, foggy/clear.. Sigh)
