Nah, not from what I hear. The networking for multiplayer sounds like it will be getting at least a few overhauls. That stuff is always finicky, especially when you consider what's going to happen now that they have a few million players using it instead of just their old batch of testers.

I don't play MP but SP is pretty solid.

Single player is near perfect. Multiplayer is still very buggy.

After 5 days of solid play, this game has not changed the oil in my car and performed a manual performance check on the engine's filters. It also has not cooked my dinners or cleaned a single room of my house, nor does it appear to be about to in the near future.

Thus I will be taking this game back to the store along with a strongly worded letter.

The game freezes when I hold down the control key during battles and it runs worse than the demo. Reasonable performance is something I should be able to expect out of a game at release.

Thats unavoidable, a game will run for somebody no matter what a devoloper does.

When did "only working copy" become "only malfunctioning copy"?

I don't want to complain excessively, Shogun 2 really is a good game. I'm just disappointed by its poor performance, especially after seeing how well my computer ran the demo.

I tried to play multiplayer earlier, couldn't make a clan, couldn't see any games in the list and auto match didn't work. Singleplayer seems alright.

@OP - You might have a problem but if you check the technical support forum you'll see how many people have problems with this game. I have a CTD every ing 5 minutes.

Well you're not the only one with a working copy, but unfortunately there are many of us who are getting insane amounts of CTDs during out battles. CA doesn't seem to want to address this, so all we can do is hope.
