I'm simply saying that MSC is a very common submod and it would be a nice courtesy to let folks know it's not compatible, thus avoiding a lot of conflicts and potentially ruined games. At no point was I inferring anything negative about your mod, I've been looking forward to using it. Ease up, eh?

I thought you were showing me attitude by the furious smilie as if i ruined your installation or something, it's mentioned that you need a clean install so i thought it was obvious.

No you can't use cheats and on most of them you can't even if you have name as they have epithets that's the way it is in vanilla.
And btw the previous installer was fine that bane provided i checked this morning so something was not right at your end.

I am trying to use this sub-mod. My SS Setup sub-mod config is: BGRV, GraculAI with No Mercy for BGRV, Next Heir Ancillary for 6.4, No AI Starting Army for BGRV, Normal Event Speed for BGRV, Permanent Watchtowers, G5 ReallyBadAI Battle System v5.6 It keeps generating errors during loading and wont work. I've uploaded screenshots attached to this post that show my setup configuration and the various errors. Please help. This sub-mod looks awesome and I would like to try it.

Hope you can help me. I am trying to integrate RLC with latest SSMAP and i did everything that was written but i am having a problem. So, i added royal envoy and i get him on my map. When my turn is about to start i get error. I uploaded system.log and as far i can see it there is no valid description what error is for. Hope you can help me or if you have a clue what is possibly generating an error.

Unfortunately I am not very good at parsing the log files, but I think you are correct in that it really doesn't tell what the error is exactly.

One thing that I do have a lot of experience with is manually adding RLC to my own custom mod, so I may be able to help in that regard.

Could you provide a detailed explanation of how you integrated RLC? Also you said you did everything that was written. Written where, could you provide a link?

Yes I installed each of these following there individual instructions into the submod manager folder. All load and work correctly exactly as they are suppose to. I even tried running a fresh SS 6.4 with just you mod and still got those errors. Funny thing is When I checked some of the text filres it was appending the things the error say were missing to the files so they wrent really missing but it wouldnt work either

Hi Ceaser,

RLC is not my mod, I couldn't even begin to take credit for the authors' great work.

The errors you are getting are because RLC uses the Sherwood Archer unit for the royal envoy, if the Sherwood Archer unit does not exist at the time RLC begins its work then you will get those errors. I am not familiar with all of the submods that you are using, but I can tell you that the Sherwood Archers lines are missing in several of your files based on your errors.

I will be a couple of weeks before I would have time to check it, but if you read the RLC.txt file you may be able to figure out how to add RLC manually.

When I try to run this mod, I get a CTD as soon as I start a campaign and this message shows up in the systym log in the SS folder: 13:45:36.631 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/SS6.3/data/descr_model_strat.txt, at line 333, column 21
Unit model type ids must be unique, non-unique entry 'royal_lady2' found. I tried to re install but that didn't work.

Like i said before game doesn't crashes or anything with blank names i have checked that again and again it has no side effects whatsoever, they become a part of family tree and have children etc with no problems.

I don't know about cheat codes and why you would one give them? Anyways since i never use cheats on characters i never thought of this.

As previously hinted the 6.4 rlc release has now its own topic. Please post any feedback / bugs / improvements for 6.4 there

The 6.2 version will most likely fall back in priority but won't be forgotten. Blank names should now be far less likely.

At the moment I can't comment on compatibility for other submods - I wrote everything as compatible as possible but you need to have a fresh (= clean) 6.4 install.

We will keep working on this in the coming weeks but for now we prefer to not have you wait any longer. Thanks for your patience and have fun

Any tpy mod that is based on a clean 6.4 should be fine IF it implements changes by search and replace and IF the edu isnt touched. The setup files need to be adapted to use msc base values - dont worry, it is on my list.

No harm intended to ya and no foul received on this end, either. Perhaps I should have realized fully what a clean install meant, didn't give it much thought.

Love the work yall have done, I'll have to check it out in-depth at some point.
