was playing on normal Campaign mode. As the cheosokae or what ever the one you start in the demo tutorial.

anyway so im at turn almost 190
barely conquering the left half side of Japan barely.
problem is somehow everyone became hostile to me.
I cant trade with anyone im running low on food cant build anything.
When i conquer more lands theres rebellion that i have no control over.
Christian rebels? come on wtf stacks of christian rebels poped out WIth Ton of experienced soldiers just taking over all my conquered land. This religion thing how do i get over it?
Also im not makign any money mostly due to trade and huge upkeep.
i have no money. and im getting invaded every side of my provinces...

This is nuts

anyone know how i can turn this around?

developer console?
Trainer?
cheats?

Help i dont want to start over again its annoying. takes too damn long.

Don't expand too quickly, make alliances, and build relations with trade. If you steam-roll everything without using diplomacy first, then this is what will happen.

You need to play smart and use diplomacy to your advantage, otherwise you're in for a world of hurt later in the game.

Also make sure to demolish any christian buildings asap if you have not already, and build Buddhist temples instead to control the populace. That is, if you are still buddhist.

The rebel armies that spawn are ridiculously over powered I once faced one that had 5 trebuchets and the rest were yari samurai and about one ashigaru. I think they should be only ashigaru and maybe with one or two samurai units. Anyways I don't think there's much to do I think its nearly game over for you, if you want cheats get a esf editor that works and open your save game and edit your money to whatever amount. What kind of units are you using in your armies?
If you're using lots of samurai units, your upkeep is going to be enormous, which could contribute to your money problems. You should make your armies up mostly of ashigaru units, with only 2 or 3 samurai units per stack.
Also, if you're expanding thats why people have poor relations with you. If you've broken any alliances to get where you are, thats a huge negative buff against you.
As for food, you have to make sure the buildings you build that take food (castles & markets) have enough farms in your lands to support them before you build them.

To solve your money problems, try capturing the trade points in the sea off the coast of japan. That should alleviate your financial troubles at least a bit.
If you have to, abandon some of your outlying provinces to the rebels and your enemies, and pull back to a more secure position to regroup your forces and attack when you are ready.

I'm playing as the Chosokobe as well but I've only encountered resistance from the northern clans on the far left island. I allied myself with the Shimazu. My economy is booming so much I ran out of things to build. Secret is in trade ships, spam all the nodes you can, but protect them as well. So far I'm only 35 turns in, things are looking up.
Just don't rush, controlled attacking is the key.

Guys i understand what you mean when i expand i make enemies.
But im almost at turn 200 if i dont expand im not going to win the game.
Also Diplomacy has been horrible for me since day 1
No one wants to trade i either have to offer them 12k$ or not trade at all.
AND after 2-3 turns they BETray my arse so i loose 12k and not getting any trade
I controlled all 5 trade ports on the left side the map with ships i have nearly 25 trade ships.
But now its uselss so no one is trading with me.
damn also theres like no clans left to trade with entire japan has like 6 clans left. 3 undiscovered the other 3 at war with me.

Then you're doing something wrong, because diplomacy works for me from turn 1 onwards. In fact, I'd say that I probably spend more time with it than in any TW game, which is probably where you are going wrong.

Try to ignore everything you have learnt in previous TW games, most of it will not work here, and that includes steam-rolling the AI.

That's strange. It would make sense that everyone hates you and diplomacy is harder if your difficulty was higher than normal, but it isn't...
Diplomacy has worked wonders for me on normal.

I remember reading something in another thread that the chokosabe have a tough time trading with people for some reason. It might just be a bug in the game that needs to be ironed out.

Just take it slow, dont roll out armies after armies without the financial backup and a steady economy to support a possible drawn out war. It isnt hard at all to meet the requirements of the long campaign if you know what you are doing. I played around a little before i went to work and it took me less than 8 turns to cap three areas and build up a sustainable economy that wont collapse at the first sight of war.

* Have a critical look at your armies and navy and cull everything you can. Disband or suicide em (so you damage your opponent whilst reducing upkeep). With things like replenishment, you can get away with building fewer units if you build them effectively. Also, you're Chosokobe, you don't need to bother with archer samurai or related buildings. Your ashi's have more bang per buck

*Look at the chi arts, some of these offer passive bonus to taxation and make things like agent actions cheaper and more successful.
* Set your taxes as high as you can manage without rebellions happening everywhere. You're gonna need some capitol for the next two steps:
* Look at all your provinces, disband buildings you don't get much use out of and add a few markets - the agents will help keep order whilst the building generates extra income. Add any other money making building - ports and special resources etc etc.
* Go to diplomacy screen and suck up and bribe all those you can, the bigger clans will tell you FU but minor clans can be persuaded if the price is right. It'll take a few turns for your investment to break even, but then after that you'll be making monehs. If you have trading nodes then get more trade ships. These are quite cheap from your capitol city and increase the yield of each node (thus how much you get for trading).
* Any more victories, just vassal them - half the income but no upkeep, no upgrading, no rebellion hassles

Could you paste a screenie of your economic overview page for us if money is the main issue?
