    Default faster training

    just wanted to ask 2 things
    1. is there a way to get gunpowder units from turn 1?

    2. is there a submod that lets units become avaible quicker (ie more units to be trained and take less turns to be trained again) ?

    as u can see i like my game fast paced

    any help would be great

    Go to SS Setup program in your SS folder and un select Real Recruitment.

    There is a way to get gunpowder units from turn 1, but I forgot how to do it. I know Newt knows but he hasnt been on here in a while. Someone else might be able to answer you on here.

    if ur comfortable modding you can go change the event date in the files to the start of your campaign should do it then.

    yea so i put it in there and it allows me to build most gunpowder buildings and a few ships but i cant build any land units to do with gunpowder
    any idea?

    yea i use the cheats to get to huge cites/citidels (only for testing ofcourse lol)
    its like they dont exist even when i go 100+ turns still cant recruit any land gunpowder units (dont know when they become actually become available though)
    is this the same for every1 or is there something wrong with my game?

    Do you have RR off, this is only for RR off.

    so i got gunpowder ships, cannons and hourse gunners to work. cant seem to get infantry to work though.

    could this be due to a missing building or is there like a 3rd command that would enable them? soz guys but im a real noob whne it comes to modding

    wait, RR increases recruitment and unit replenish time??

    RR off just means you can recruit all units like in Vanilla.You either have to use the aforementioned fix or wait for the gunpowder event.
    mr_maso I would reccomend a reinstall.

    Is the pike/shot event in 6.4 (or was it RR/RC only?)? If it is, you may need to set the counter on a few more events to 1. Possibly some armour events, too.

    Yes it's in, not relevent to RR OFF though.Also there are only two events and thats CANNONS and HANDGUN in the EDB.
