    Icon5 CD-Key question

So I installed the Medieval 2 Total War Gold Edition on my laptop and entered the CD-Key and it allowed me to play online, but now I have a newer computer and I reinstalled it on here and I get the invalid CD-key message whenever I try to go online. Is there any way to fix this?

    you could try calling SEGA
I don't play that much online, but maybe someone else can give you help there. Are you using your old gamespy account or did you make a new one?

Did you make sure to enter the key exactly as given? If I remember right there was a bug for online play that would invalidate a valid key if it wasn't entered in upper case and fully hyphenated in the four alpha numeric blocks - i.e. AA3A-B2BB-5XXX-GGG9 etc. and whatever.

And what do you mean by "...as well as making a new one."...? Good luck!

Yeah i'm sure its absolutely correct with all uppercase letters, no spaces, with hyphens, and not confusing letters for numbers like 0 for o, and I mean I tried making a new gamespy account. Also I sent a support ticket to SEGA so lets see what happens.

Yeah that's about your only option at this point. It seems that this is happening more and more recently. Well, good luck!

If you have double-checked to be sure you entered it correctly (I have missed a few times), contact Sega, and explain it to them.
