    Default EB Mod Recommendations

    Hi there

    Would like some suggestions - I have EB1.2 with fixes but would like to know if there are any good EB mods that I should be using, otherwise highly recommended buy TWC members.

    Also what Level do you play on eg H/Vh .

    Well, I personally use the RSII environments, the City Mod, and my own personal mods including new music, BI, and shield wall formations for some units.

    I play on M/M because it seems like the best base for historical gameplay.

    I also play M/M - Played VH/VH as Hellenic Koinon and got pushed all the way back to Rhodes - great challenge though

    I've started a new Romani campaign with the BI exe. VH/H, with RS textures, Force Diplomacy (which I rarely use), and for the first time, City Mod. I like how CM slows down the economy and no more giant cities everywhere, but the trade-off has been virtually no unrest (at least not yet - 218 B.C.). I really wanted to try Konny's Legion mod, but I couldn't get it to work.

    I think *hard* on battles is the perfect setting for me. I've actually lost a battle against the QH, and usually take a decent amount of casualties nearly every battle now. I completed my last campaign on VH/M and lost only one battle I went to the mat with (lost some naval battles and insignificant auto-resolves), and that was at the very end when I was over confident and lazy in a battle vs the Sweboz.

    Personally I don't like CM, way too limiting.

    That's the entire point for me. Essentially, my mini-mods are designed to make the campaign as Europa Universalis-like as possible, allowing more realistic possibilities.

    Also, I forgot about Force Diplomacy, I have that as well. And I also have Sinuhets formations, forgot about that one too.

    EU is not limiting Its way more random than TW anything can happen including OPM blobbing like crazy.

    RS2 enviroment, city mod, force diplomacy, sinhut's battle formation, plus a few minor tweaks of my own.

    I'm playing with the Alex Pack. That lets me use the Alex.exe and some other goodies.

    I play on H/M 'cause I kinda sorta play SimCity Total War.

    EU is limiting in that you can't just blitz around the globe. For me, the city mod helps limit expansion and economic options.

    Slightly, It's toatally possible do blitz in EU, I once read a scottish AAR where this guy did a WC on VH with like 150 years to spare.
