The Americas

I couldn't find this anywhere and I was just wondering if the Americas is still explorable in SS?

nope, it was removed to to make way for a larger eastern side of the map since the Americas really took up a LOT of space on the map (not the landmass, but the giant ocean in between America and Europe) and didn't really give anything in return besides colonization and fighting Indians (Native Americans if you prefer).

I wish it was possible to make the map larger than it already is (alas it is not, but oh well). Invading the Americas was a pretty fun diversion from fighting in Europe or the Middle East, but having the Aztecs and the "generic" natives' units would take away from other civilizations' units.
