Very Hard or hard?

So I'm going to be starting a new campaign as IRELAND! (playing 6.1) I'm not really sure whether to use VH or H on campaign difficulty. I like a very good challenge, but I don't want to have full scale invasions coming at me every day, you know? I'm thinking I'd like to try VH, unless it's too over board? Also, in VH is it impossible to keep an alliance? I find it very annoying to constantly be backstabbed randomly.

As for battle difficulty, I am no military genius. However, i still like a challenge and I want to learn more about tactics! I really want a good challenge, would you recommend H or Vh?

Advice on either campaign difficulty or battle appreciated! Thanks!

Use VH, theres a bug in the mod where the AI dosn't get it's bonuses on H, so VH is better.

as ireland it doesent matter

u are always filthy rich u can spam the

outa the enemy and ireland is very hard to attack (if u place watchtowers and forts on the coast)

Hmmmm, damn now I have a craving to play as the Irish again. Vh would make it much more of a challenge that is for sure.

I wish they kept the Irish in 6.4

Yeah it would be like so OMG awesome to play as Ireland in 6.4.
I see threads about adding some sucky eastern european faction, scandavian or muslim faction, but like who cares about those guys anyways.

Is Hard still fecked in 6.4?

I play very hard very hard...that way you dont have retarded AI controlling troops and you see the enemies best troops they can get....what fun is it fighting spear militia all the time....
