    Default Keeping public order [advanced]

It may sound a bit silly, but public order (PO) in all its meaning has never been quite clear to me.
I ask you, fellow veterans, to clarify some things for me, if you'd be so kind!

Every possible info is welcome. I ask in this subforum because I believe (don't know, actually) that RSII has some of its own perks when it comes to PO and its effect on a governor:

so, for starters, I wish to ask whether it's true that:
    1) when you conquer a settlement, an increase in PO can also be achieved by populating (disbanding units in) that same settlement with people who were trained in your other settlement (like home provinces).
Let's say - I disband two armies of republican velites in Carthago nova. Prior to that, I've exterminated the previous inhabitants.

    2) a governor of a settlement will not get any negative governing traits as long as the public order is on (yellow face) and higher. I wish to know which PO percentage is that, as you well know that yellow ranges from 85 - 100 %

    sigh..
    1. question is self answering if you really would have read thru the second guide as these are mechanics questions...addionally new conquered settlements have a huge culture penalty (this is covered in both guides)...
    2. traits are custom made in RSII and if you wanna find out you have to go thru the export_characters_traits.txt file...all possible effects are listed in the traits descriptions...
governors can get bad traits if the leader gets bad habits/traits too...
maintaining PO in green is a good idea

If the population is enemy, exterminate them.

If the population is friendly, recruit them into one of your numerous armies.

    Thus is public order maintained.

I have never noticed disbanding your troops to reduce cultural penalty. So I think not, although there is a small chance I didnt disband enough.

Exactly, that is just what I asked.

sigh...the engine does not make a difference between "enemy" population and "friendly" population...what makes the OP assume that this is the case ?
It doesnt matter at all ...only thing that counts is the culture penalty after conquering the settlement, the amount of enemy buildigns and the number of population order buildings, temples, governor traits etc ,...disbanding an army after exterminating the population only reduces public order as the population increases...this can be clearly deduced when "reading" the settlement management guide

@Manimal87: I said that the question is self answering...if you could not find a reference in both guides to your question then it should be more than obvious that the effect in question doesnt exist and there isnt really the need for a negative confirmation then as it can not be confirmed positively...
