Already played Date and Mori. Was gonna play Oda but now I'm undecided. Already played Mori and Date. First post, whichever clan they choose I play.

Uesugi!
It's a tough campaign, make sure to take out the Jinbo ASAP.
How was your Date campaign? Was it difficult being so far East?
"...I'll look for something else. We're surrounded by water. Why are we eating knob?"
Not really. It was probably because I was playing on normal but I pretty much just steamrolled the AI until RD, and then the only problem was the Hattori raiding me continuously and sabatoging my army. The distances involved in traveling are annoying, but so long as you can take control of the uppermost 4 provinces you have a great powerbase to then wage war on the Uesugi with whatever allies you can aquire.
One thing that I've learned in both campaigns: Getting and keeping allies is goal no.1. Do whatever you can to improve diplomatic relations, as in RD, even the meekest friend provides much assistance soley through trade. And if you have a 4 province or more ally, the odds get much better.
I hear that Monkey, I played Date, and I'd have had a tough time once RD hit if I didn't have my one solid ally.
portigal
I remember Uesugi were a spotty clan to play with in original Shogun. It's funny, since I've played original right up to last month I'm having a tough time accepting the various traits CA have given the new clans in S2. Don't get me wrong, they're good decisions, but grandfather Shogun left such a strong impression..
Try on Hard or Very Hard, though for better gameplay. Krikey, this is the best TW yet for gameplay.
