Ugly Scimitars

is it just me or, or dose any one else wish that after all the great work that has been put into this mod, middle eastern troops still carry that ugly kitchen knife that they did in the original game,

after searching all over for a mini-mod i finally downloaded ms3d and tried to fix it, and i've been at it for nearly 38 hours now,

sadly inspite reading all the tutorials i could find the end result was stiffman syndrome, otherwise i did everything i could think of to multiple units, to no avail

I've noticed the same thing when trying to modify units, particularly when trying to add weapons or other attachments. Not sure the issue.

Have you played Broken Crescent? Are their scimitars more in keeping with what you expect? I don't have much experience or knowledge of Middle Eastern warfare, so I can't really tell. They look better, but are they correct for the time period/factions/cultures?

i've been playing DLV ever since the first version, and am a little new to DLV, the game mechanics of DLV and all it's cool features make it an absolute blast! i really love the gameplay, but the kitchen knives make diving in less rewarding if only there was a way to combine broken crecent's beauty with DLV's Gameplay,
