Difficulty level

What difficulty level is recommended? vh/vh?

If you are new to the game, i wouldnt suggest more than M/M, until you get your feet under you enough to understand how to build a city, and the like.
Once you are into the learning curve, yeah, H/H or VH/VH, but... if you are just playign for your first time? learn how the game works before you try to anally violate it with a footman's mace.

BGR IVE VH/VH with the late campaign K Shah is reccomended.

Yes, what Ferdiad recommended is what is recommended to start on. Try it out. Very easy campaign. All you have to do is sit back and let your economy build. You wont be invaded by anyone, I promise.

Exactly, England is actually very hard in SS, don't try them.The Scots, French and Norwegians will attack you simoultaneously so It's for real experts.
