    Default Virus/Malware other checkers

Just out of interest, how many different checkers do people use and what other security do you use? I have use BitDefender with regular weekly full scans, startup scans and daily quick scans. For a giggle I am running the free Malwarebytes now - and so far it has found 1 infection - hmm, obviously I need to be more careful.

So I was wondering who uses what to ensure their security. I'm relatively careful - although I use a wireless network, the SSID is not default, key is >15 characters long, only allowed mac addresses etc. I use BitDefender (and now MalwareBytes) and I'm pretty careful with pop-ups, anything email that tries to install etc etc, but obviously I could be more careful. So what do you folks do?

I never do anything with stupid emails (like the ones from Natwest Bank with a .ru domain asking me to urgently update my password - that would be for the account I've never ever held with them!) but obviously something slipped through so it just got me to thinking what others do?

Microsoft Security Essentials for real time protection.
Malwarebytes if I think I got a virus. (Which I have yet to get one.)
    My brain. (The most effective.)
