Default Geology Mapping. (too?) image heavy

    Hi all,

As you may know I've taken an interest specifically in mapping terrain and geology. Not as good as Zhuango's yet, I think but I'd say slowly but surely my efforts are paying off. I'm actually getting a bit excited about some of the things I get on screen now. Sadly I was "let go" from the project I was working on, so I've got to share my enthusiasm with you lot . It may or may not see the light of day in actual gameplay. Words of caution: never mind the regions, settlements and fords and the like, they're just there to get a map on screen. Finally I'm still working on the climate and these are all with the default.

    Pyreneees:

    Northern Alps

    Southern Norway

    deep forest to steppe transition

    Uh, Uzbekistan..........(getting there)

    Towards the Tarim basin

    Foothills of the Himalaya

    In game, the Kaukasus

In game, Thessaloniki (my favourite spot, pity about the backdrop glitches in the tga)

That is an absolutely EXCELLENT map! Geographically perfect, full of rivers, diverse terrain, big, all the hallmarks of a quality map.

    Keep up the good work!

OH MY GOD! This is the best map there is! Better than the other ones large custom map (i've forgotten his name ) this map looks so good! Its geographicaly perfect and it a looks beatifull too, it really gives you a 'globe feeling' because the map is bent. Keep it up! This map is most worthy to see the daylight sometime.
