is it possible to make the chosen axemen use their shield(which is in the model)

also can i make them a spear unit or is that a moddeling thing! :original:

No, they don't have a shield in the model, I don't know why you thought they do.

Yes, it would require modeling to give them spears, but if you do it, you'll get something exactly the same as spear warband, so I don't see why you'd want to do it.

sorry i mean the ones in bi they have a nice big tear drop shield in the model(skin) it would make a nice shield wall

You mean the skin. The model refers to the actual 3d model the unit uses.

so is the shield only in the skin and not the model,

if thats not the case can i get the shield active in game or is that going to be an issue with the animation it seems odd as they can form a shield wall(with no shield)

Its only on the skin, its not in the model. So you would need to edit the model to give them a shield.
