Cuts in everything but military which gets about 7% more money. Oh, and a planned deficit of 423 billion $. That my friends is cuts in healthcare, education, environnement and transport.

Do I have to mention this does not include war budget?

Oh and for those who like Republicans because they like a smaller government, all I have to say is that the budget increased by 48% since 2001. Yup, and now who's gonna pay for the debt?

Well, as many people here will say, Bush isn't a true conservative. He spends far too much.

But to the budget, it honestly is just a travesty. Cuts where we need funding the most, more money for a defense budget against what? A few Muslims with carbombs? I thought Bush was the President who said he WASN'T going to waste 1 million on a cruise missile to wipe out a camel somewhere in the desert. I'd like to know what exactly in the defense budget is getting more cash, because we sure as hell don't need more money on F-15's and Abrams Tanks.

Defense money right now should be going to the basics: body armor, Humvee armor, and supplies for the troops in Iraq that they are desperately low on.
