Default Chapter One-The Rise of Nomadic People from East

Hello guys, I have seen the story of different factions in the website and feel it is great! So I decided to do one of my own story for both guild and some novel. It is about the Parthia. I hope you guys would like it as it is my first time doing this type of thing. If you like it, please pose a comment and tell me. I will continue it if you guys like it! (in the same time, I also want to use it to pratice my English. So if there is any mistake (vocabulary, grammar or anything), just pose it out and correct me!)

Chapter One-The Rise of Nomadic People from East
    Part One-Introduction

It was summer of 270 BC, Lord Arsaces, king of Parthia, had moved his people from Persia to Middle East. What he didn't know, was the great bloody struggle that his men would face fpr the next 250 years.

Before the great, heroic and bloody history begins, we need to know a bit about the history of Parthia. Parthia was a group of nomadic people who lived in Persia hundreds of years. They had fought many wars and created many heros. However, the Persia had conquered them few hundred years ago. After a few centuries under the tight control of Persia goverment, a great hero, Alexander the Great, the greatest Macedon general and king, defeated the Persia and created a greatest empire that still make echo today. But to Parthia, the control never released. However, a few years later, a bolt from the blue finally pushed the empire into graveyard. The death of Alexander had caused his generals privately divided his empire, and a smell of blood had clouded among the sky of old empire. But to Parthia, it was a great thing as no one had time to "take care" of them. But peace never visited Parthia, the tribes around the area were fighting for land over centuries. After a few recent years of continul wars, the king of Parthia, Arsaces, decided to move his people to Middle East for a more peaceful life, but may be he was wrong...

I have seen a much better story in other website using Brutii as material to create a story. It's quite nice as it gives all the battles he (or she) had fought and the photo to show how he (or she. Don't want to be biased.)fights. The story line is quite nice too but just a bit normal... (because the player started to conquer Macedon, which most people did when playing Brutii.)

very good story, i too am interested in hearing more

as for your english, when you refer to peoples and empires you are saying
defeated the Persia and created a greatest empire that still make echo today.
it should be "defeated the Persians and created a great empire that still makes an echo today.

And the chapter 2 would be a bit longer to complete it because it's really quite hard to play Parthia...

Don't worry, I think there is a good strategy guide for them in this site. The greatest difficulty is to adapt yourself to a new form of war with horses playing a central role and infantry reduced to a mere auxiliary force. In fact there are two basic principles that I learned: shoot at the enemy spearmen with all your missiles and attack all the enemy infantry (except spearmen) with your devastating cataphracts! At this point of the game you should expand fast or else you'll run out of money soon.

Best wishes, and waiting for the next chapter.

That's why RTW named him so... But later your character names will get distant from reality, as it was with MTW.

BTW, go to the articles session and you will probably find a good article for Parthia.

About the horse archers, you've just to take them to end of the map or attack them from both sides so they have nowhere to escape and will be exposed to melee. Buy they are damn fast!

Some history fact for Parthia. Actually they got independant from Seleucid under the tribe leader Arsaces. They had conquered the rest of Persia (today's Iran) and created another Empire. But their army never strong before and they warfare actually was mainly gurella.
