Israel is frankly quite trapped now. By that i mean Iran is developing nukes, the Arab world is ****** off (more so than usual), and HAMAS is in power in palestine.

Israel isn't going to allow Iran to develop nukes, but that will lead to military confrontation. Israel just purchased two submarines capable of launching nuclear tipped missiles, are upgrading their armament (as usual), and walling off their nation.

Arabs still hate Israel, even after all they have done. And with sharon out of the picture, the region is even more volatile.

Israel really isn't trapped at all... not with the power of the US and the Western world at their backs. If Iran somehow develops nuclear weapons and (god forbid) uses them, Israel will wipe half of the Middle Eastern cities from the face of the Earth. Even with an unstable and fanatic government, Iran clearly knows that they would receive a lot more than they would give. The only problem would be if they don't care...

firstly I belive Iran was close to making nukes before and the isrealis bombed out thier nuclear facilities to keep them from getting nukes.

Then there is the fact that as fanatical as the leaders of Iran might apear to be, I still belive they are rational people. Its a common knolegdce that isreal has nukes, maybe even alot of them. The leaders of Iran know what fill happen if they launch one, and I dont belive they are fanatical enough to doom themselves for the destrucion of a country that im fiarly sure they dont even care about that much. I mean non of the leaders of any arabic country have been fanatical enough to blow them selves up, and neaither are most of the arabs.

Israel is not afraid to defend itself. In 1981 Israel bombed out of exsistance the Tammuz-1 nuclear reactor at Osiraq in Iraq and during the First Gulf war when Iraq fired Scud missiles into Tel-Aviv and Haifa the country went on a full scale nuclear alert.

Ive been saying that for decades. The irony is the only thing thats really stopped them is the West and most of all the US who the Arabs hate for helping the Israelis. As the wicked witch of the west said " Oh what a world , what a world"

Well vowing is different. USA "vowed" to combat terrorism, and they invade Iraq? Well that isnt not the other countries faults, the whole region has mental problems with their "god" and "holy land". As Mudd has stated, even though Irans leaders maybe "crazy", they are not stupid to condem their population, and other ME populations. -Leon
EDIT: I dont think an offensive war caused by Isreal will end well. I feel they will lose horribly, and the ME will send absolutely everything to kill every Isreali afterwards. -Leon
