Assasination Vids Are Back!!

Great News!I succeeded on placing the STW assasination movies in the assasination messages on BiAnd those are videos not pics!Here is a ingame screencapture:

Believe me guys this is true. :original: Now that this is possible we are using the STW event videos for the events like assasinations and new faction leader etc.we do our own videos for the faction starting videos.

I'm glad you got that nut cracked Kage, but if I understand this correctly, only one mission start and two mission end video can be played, one for success and one for failiure, right?

In either case, we also need to remember that adding videos dramatically increases the size of the game-files. Already now, without the assassination videos, the actual gamefiles take 28MB while the faction videos take 116MB. I suspect however, that we will be providing versions both with and without the videos?

I agreew with Tomte, you should have to editions, one with videos and one without, so that people with slower connections can enjoy this mod!

Although I have slow connection myself, I will download the edition that has videos included for the ultimate experience

Thanks guys! :original: Ofcourse we can do light and heavy versions from the mod,but adding the assasination and maybe the new daymio vids will not be what makes the mod size huge but if Kurogane will complete 20 faction starting vids thats whats making the package huge.

Kage, just wondering can the assasination vid be different for all the differen types of people you traget. Like can the Faction ruler and his heirs have one video for them, the generals, and the diplmoats. Or will they all share the same one.

At the moment it seems we can only have two direct assasination videos the message of succesfull one and the failure.So far i have not have any luck on making new events in the game just adjusting the existing ones.

Which one of the vids are you using from STW ??? Theirs about 2-3 that show that same castle for the diplomat, faction leader, and the general.

To tell you the truth i havent even decided yet.But i think i will use a clip from different assasination vid to show the succesfull attempt and failure.There are still the other videos we can use for some other events like the new Daymio video or faction destroyed video.I can also give you guys a hint that our Main menu will look lot different then the main Menu of Bi.
