    Wow indeed,
That was some first class propaganda material, even better than Fox
Sad part is that a lot of the arguments used are indeed valid reason why they resist
american occupation. The more posts I see from all these imbicle warmongers here
in the forums, shouting "let's get even with Iran for the Embassy Hostage crisis",
the more sympathy I get for the Iraqi's insurgency,
although without any doubt they are scumbags as well.

The teacher in me compels me to point out that "imbicle" is actually spelled "imbicile". I'm sure that this was just a typo. After all, someone who calls someone else an imbicile certainly would know how to spell the word.

If you actually believe this video then I feel sorry for you because its as much propaganda as anyone can claim Rumsfeld spews. It recycles alot of the crap found on such 'credible' sites as Jihad Unspun.

...but I suspect Bush, however bad he may be, is in any case better than terrorists.

Yet he gave them a point of existing.
Really? I was unaware Bush incited the USS Cole, 9/11 etc you know all acts that happened or were planned well before Bush came into office. Terrorist are like a beehive, you can leave it there and let a few bees come out few at a time and sting you or you can smash the hive and risk alot of bees coming out at once and stinging you but eventually you'll kill all the bees and not have to worry about them a year from now.

When I say "Iraqi freedom fighters" I mean the men who have the guns and rockets, and are attacking the invaders military. They are the ones who blow up the helicopters, jeeps, tanks, and soldiers.
I don't mean that I support the extremist freaks who blow themselves up in a mall. That is not freedom-fighting. Shooting at soldiers is what the true fighters do. I also do not support the hostage takers.
Anyone who fits the description is a fighter to me, not a terrorist.
Blowing up in a city and killing civilans is an inefficient way of fighting and what I call terrorism, because they are killing civilians. I don't support those people.

USA invaded by 200 Iraqi planes, each with sharp missiles, causing paper cuts on the presidents face. The Texan who threw the plane is being given the death penalty for attempting to assassinate the Queen.

Actually, its spelt "Imbecile", unless you yanks have your own way of spelling.

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

Anyway, while i despise the Insurgents tactics as much as anyone, i will not call them cowards for the way they are fighting against US Troops. What do you expect them to do? Fight man for man against the US Army? They'd be cut down in seconds, and they know this. IED's and ambushes are the only option they have (Same as the Palestinians against the Israelis).
You can split the insurgency into 2 groups in Iraq. One that is only intersted in fighting the US/UK, and the other that is only interested in starting a civil war. I would say that the first group would fit the term "freedom fighters" (even if their concept of freedom is slight deranged)

:sign_what That almost had me sympathising for them then. I can sort of see their point, but that bit in the middle was just crazy.

Nice play on words, as the insurgents are fighting against Freedom for Iraqis...

Great speech, but who hired those cameramen?

    Are they shaking with fear?
Or do they just not know how to hold a video camera?

I think the most interesting part is how he talks about Bush taking away civil liberties, and going against the US constitution.
And this was shot before the whole "spying on US citizens" issue.

Bush is upholding the constitution. Perhaps you should actually read the constitution instead of assuming 'bush did that' and 'bush is doing that'. And about civil libertys thats BS, the left is crying because it looks like they aint gonna get their 'bill of rights for terrorists'.

Its about time we had something from the other side.

We've had tons of crap spewed at us by the Americans, its about time the resistance had their say.
Like all videos supporting those in warfare, it was bias of course.

But it is still good to get something from the other side in this war.

and how exactly is he upholding the constitution? have you even read the patriot act? or the domestic security enhancement act of 2003 (patriot act II) ?

why is he setting up a national police force through homeland security and TSA? why does he claim he has the power to detain american citizens indefinately, even secretly execute them?

    yes im absolutely serious

read the legislation. it says it in the patriot act, and even broadens it in the domestic security enhancement act of 2003. it also implies over and over, this is for fighting domestic terrorism and crime

That was a pretty powerful video, its interesting to hear the prespective of those who are fighting against the US. If this is an authentic video.

"life under dictatorship is far more safer than behind the bars of your democracy,"

If those who made this video would stop fighting then it would be safer, the US isnt the one planting rode side bombs.

You do that when your country is invaded. Stop the fighting and yield, and never plant a roadbomb, alright? Do we have a deal?

Of course you were unaware. You wouldn't let yourself be aware even if it happened before your own eyes. As if the U.S. government ever hesitated sacrificing American citizens. It does it in this war for few people's profit (is that wrong?). It did it in Nuclear 'drills' in the desert of Nevada, with REAL American soldiers who suffered mutations from radioactivity, so that those mutations would be studied and the results of radioactivity listed (is that wrong?). It does it by allowing its citizens to have guns and this way having them shoot each other in schools, markets, houses and pretty much everywhere else (is that wrong?).

However, I'm sure that now with Iraq much the crime rates should have dropped in the U.S. Now criminals can still be criminals and not only skip persecution from their country's law, but also be paid for it! Plus they become much better equipped than they were back then... And a special bonus: the devastation that they wreak, they wreak in another country! Perhaps that's what Bush means when he talks about 'war against terror'...
