Alright, I was wondering if it was possible to link the deaths of a family member's wife and an assassin. My goal is to have my faction leader Married to a female assassin. This being said the problem i thought of was that the assassin could die on a mission but would still be alive as a wife and having children with the faction leader which wouldn't make any logical sense.Therefor i was hopping someone would be kind enough to instruct me on how to create a script that will kill the wife if the assassin dies or kill the assassin if the wife dies possibly through some kind of event as they are the same person.
Just to clarify since i have a feeling it will come up and perhaps someone will want to use this method to create female agents along side male agents without things like the name crossover, The assassin in descr_strat is set up as follows:
character Keaira, assassin, female, age 16, x 68, y 281
traits NaturalAssassinSkill 3, KeairaBio 1,
Keaira is also defined in descr_names under women and not characters as this would allow for male characters to have her name, but instead allows princesses in the faction to be named after her down the line. However this by itself does not mean the assassin is named Keaira and if you left it at that when you went into the game the character's name shows up as " " but no errors yet that i have discovered. The trait KeairaBio automatically gives the assassin the Epithet: Keaira thus setting her name along with a background such as starting characters in Third Age Total War have. Though this solution would work only works untill the character gains another trait with an Epithet. The solution to that was disallowing those traits for her that would give an epithet and adding traits only available to her with slightly modified epithets.
Example:
(the modified)GoodAssassin 5 will give the Epithet: Keaira the killer instead of: the killer
while (the normal)GoodAssassin 5 will give the Epithet: the killer to all assassins excluding Keaira
My plan is to also to give the assassin a female portrait but if that would randomly filter into the other assassins created later in the campaign i will give her a portrait thats darkly hooded so you cannot see the facial features. I am planning on also changing the model for assassins of the faction on the strat map to that of a cloaked figure that you cannot tell the gender of.
As of yet this method to creating a female assassin among male assassins is not fully tested but should work without giving male characters female names, if you find out anything about using this method that i have not covered(crashes, errors, etc...) please let me know so i may continue experimenting with this for my mod.
Thank you for your time, i appreciate any help you can give, please bare in mind that i am new to modding in M2TW.
