With Germania, imo, you either win fantastically or lose horribly if your opponent can hold the line long enough your scary shock troops and the fight comes down to a prolonged slugfest where the low defense stats of your troops becomes your undoing. Britons have chariots and headhurlers which are very killy units.

Well Head Hurlers are both scary and do obscene damage, that's as mass routerish you can get, I hate it when I have to face Head Hurlers with for example Bronze Shields.

Britons does that without even having to get their hands dirty in close combat and since Britons destroys Germans 1v1 as well then it has to be Britons that are the best ones.

Germania's archers are far too expensive to be useful at normal 15k. gothic cav are pretty decent, but Germania will have no counter to anything britain has. head hurlers were rape everything. chariot archers will rape everything. their chariots will rape everything again.

Historically, Britain is terribly unrealistic in the game, going for Germania.

Yep, admittedly they were great fun the first time you used them, but I would have prefered if they made Woad Warriors into a berserker unit instead, would be less overpowered.

have never used head hurlers myself. more of a phalanx faction player. have been slaughtered by head hurlers many a time though =( may have been a bit OP if britain had good infantry too. their chariots and HH are deadly enough as it is

Germania if we go historically speaking they would slaughter the Britons, after all they actually beat the Romans. Ummm ya back to the game Beserkers and Chosen axemen for the germans are scary as all hell and will carve a path through anything but those damn head hurlers.....
