    Preload still not working for me (playing at a friend's house, my copy is on it's way) but I just want to hear everyone's first impressions. No need for detailed reviews, just a couple of words on how you find the game

    For me, I'm still waiting. Damn preload!

    Well all i got was Joy, seeing everyone panic. This is why i opted for the game copy i can keep on my shelf. Even if I have to wait, a few more hours than the steam team 20 gig of game download; that is craptastic.

    The game is on two DVD-ROMs so there must be a fair bit to download.

    Even if you have a set of discs I'm sure there will be an additional download required as part of the validation process.

    Indeed, especially in Britain. I swear, sometimes it's like living in a remote backwater, where even electricity is a rarity!

    Try living in Australia.. You'd be lucky to get higher then adsl+2 (2 MB/sec)
