Default Possible to change name of a trait/ancillary?

    Is it?

    of course it is ...
as long as you change all related entrys for that particular trait/ancillary or you will get a CTD once it triggers...

Couldn't he just alter the text file (VnV or something?) and he wouldn't have to edit all those files?

Iam not sure...never really wrote my own traits/anc...
as I understand it Export_Descr_Character_Traits.Txt and Export_VnVs.txt are linked files and for each entry in one you need the corresponding entry in the other...

So I'd have to open each of the two text files and replace the current name with the new name?

I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble.

you really should read the topics before posting generic stuff which has nothing to do with the matter at all...this is about traits/ancillarys and not about settlement names..................

The names of 'levels' in a trait are all in 'export_vnvs.txt' in the text folder. Any text in there NOT in between these {} can be changed as you wish.

Yeah that's what I meant (what dvk said). Just edit the vnv text file and you should be good.
