Crashing on start up.

hi guys, just got medievil 2 on steam on the sale.

having some trouble with it starting up, i load up the news box comes up, i press play and the music comes on then i get a white box with nothing in it and it just says

c...

at the top, when i first went to play the game i didnt install the directx like it wanted me to because i figured iv already got directx 11 installed so could that be the problem?

it should run i can run empire and shogun on my computer.

Good old time to reinstall symbol. Where did you get the game?

got it of steam today, took most of the day to download

Verify your game cache integrity via Steam.

word to the wise. It wants to add things like directx and .Net framework, let it. If it finds a newer version, it will leave it alone.

i already did it updated but still hasnt fixed, im also downloading kingdoms now... ill try it once more real quick see if it will fix itself
