Could you post a screenshot of what is happening? Make sure you are selecting the right option for the exe you are using as well.

I'll bet the download was from file front. I had a similar issue where it wouldn't launch the campaign either.

I switched to the torrent and I am having a different issue.

When I go to run the game I am getting a strange black screen with a someone's handle in neon green lettering in the left corner. I've downloaded the torrent 3 different times with the same bizarre adware. I run Vipre and it goes nuts when I try to install the game correctly noting that there is adware.

When I use the taskmaster to switch to desktop the game has loaded fine however the buildings are in a sharp yellow that makes the game unplayable.

Does the Green writing say Boris or something like that? as that is most likely the bloom effect if you turned it on and you'll need to wait a bit longer than usual when starting the game as the bloom makes it take a bit longer to start.

Yeah, thats it. Something about GTA. That screen never seems to go away. I'll try w/o bloom.

Yes that is the bloom, if bloom is turned off I do not believe it will be there. If it is turned on however you will seen it and then have your screen go all green shortly afterwards IIRC.

You have bloom enabled, turn it off or alt tab out and back in.

try a different site. the file front has a corrupt file. Also, do NOT use the torrent -- someone added a bogus file in there that acts as adware. This MOD needs a better/more secure download sites.

Well i don't generally use bloom, but i just tested it and it appears to only happen when i use light bloom. It starts as a little green bit in the top left corner and then spreads like a puddle until it fills the whole screen.

You've all missed the original error - "select an item from the list". It's nothing to do with the bloom. It means that RTW BI is not patched to the correct level (usually).

Yes, make sure it's RTW 1.5 and RTW BI 1.6 and all should be fine - until you get the next problem.

We do suggest installing over a working copy of those versions of RTW and/or RTW BI.
