Hey Im playing as Norway in a grand campaign using DMUC. As I play I will share with you whats happening, if you care to watch. Ill upload pictures and text mainly. And please forgive my english.

Update 1

1700
Strating with economy. building a traiding port in Bergen, and at Arendal Im upgrading to peasant farms. In Orkdal fortres im building timber and in Kirkene a Iron mine. My plan is to try to get income very fast. Norway just manged to get out of the union with Denmark, thow that made Norway wonerble against Sweden who also want to have a union. So Norway must make an Army fast, before Sweden acts. In Christiania they make a Military Governor's Encampment as well as cobbled roads.

1701
Taxes are being change to 2/5 trying to grow the village Stavanger.
Trade port in Bergen is finish. Norway goes to Great Britain to establish a trade route, as they traded when they where in the union with Denmark. Britain accepts.
Sweden declare war!

1702
Russia want to trade with Norway. Norway accepts. As now both of these factions are facing a common enemy. Military Governor's Encampment is now complete, Norway starts to build the new upgrade: Military Governor's Barracks. Also Norway starts to build up a fleet at Bergen. Thow that will take many years.
Norway seek an alliance with Denmark, and trade agreement. Denmark agrees if Norway pay 4500. Norway agree on thees terms.
Sweden gathers an army outside of Stockholm

1703
Swedens Army outside of Stockhold marches on twords Norway, there General is Carl Gustav Armfelt, 3star. Norway who fear a most likely attack, get a General: Håkan Romer, 4star. However, the Norwegians se that the army from Sweden is far greather then theirs, and are trying to get a peace treaty, without any sucsess.

Luckely for the Norwegians the Swedish army, returns to Stockhold for an unknown reason.

1704
Military Governor's Barracks is now finish, and Norway can start recruting Line infantry. As well as they upgrade the building to Parliament chamber. Norway have realative much money, because of the trade routes. Thow later on that year, the Swedish army returns to the border between Norway and Sweden. This time, they are more men.

1705
Norway seek after tecnology, because Norway dont have a school, but Norway has been unsucsessfull getting any.
Summer 1705 Sweden marches for Christiania. Norway have 3639 men and Sweden have 2769. (NOTE1)



Battle for Christiania 1705

My Entire army is plased on a hilltop. My army is weak, and have no combat experience. My units are manly malitia and some line infantry, with 2 units of cav, and 2 mortars. My left flank is protected by a mountain, so they cannot flank me there, Im worry on the right flank, due to the large open area. I put some units to protect my left flank, I hide my cav in the forest on the left flank. and put my main force along the middel with all the fortification.



I was not paying attention when the Swedish cav charged on my right flank, luckly they hit the fortification, and many of them died, I also sent my units who where behind to beat them away. The swedish main army was to far behind to support their own cav, who decide to retreat





2 units of the Swedish infantry charged in the middel of my force, where I had good defensive, and lots of manpower. I thought I could hold out agains theese 2 units with my 2 line inf. and 3 malitia who guarded that area.



However, the Swedish went around on my left flank, using the mountain for cover. They attacked hard on my main force on the left side. And many of my men retreated. So it was time to send my cav.




My 2 units of cav, mange to send 3 Swedish units on retreat. That hurt them along the my left flank. But While I focuse on the left, the Swedish had pushed throw my lines to my right flank. I se no other option then to send in my General Håkan Romer, and because Im so lucky, he dies at once the unit meet contact.



Right after Håkan Romer dies, the Swedish General Carl Gustav Armfelt, runs pointsless into my fortification, and that leads to his death. And that was very lucky for me.



The swedish army was now weak, and started to easly reatreat. They sent some random assults, but thouse where just a waste of their men.

Then I send my Cav to take their arty, and victory is mine.


However a costly victory...

Note 1: I dont know why, but when the swedish army attacked, my army got bigger, I never had thouse Mortars, but in the defence I suddenly did.

Update 2

1706
Norway is still recruiting and reparing damage after the battle. Sweden on the other hand, is gathering a new army outside of Stockholm. A milita units depart from Christiania to Bergen, to make sure there will be no rading on the port.

1707
The Norwegian fleet is now done, with 5 ships of Fifth rate, under command of Admiral Hendrik Paulson, 3 star. Norway position their fleet outside of the port Malmø, next to denmarks that is blocking the port. From that position, Swedish ship cannot pass without a fight. On mainland, Sweden is sending a new force twords Norway, thow this force is smaller then the last one, and dont have a general. In Christiania the Parliament chamber is now complete, and Norway wil recive more tax money. And because of the new swedish treath, a new general for Norways army, his name Børil Olsen, 3 star. However, Norway do not belive the Swedish force will attack. Later on that year, the Swedish force move into Norway, stoping just North of Christiania, proberbly after Ringsaker Forest, to destroy the logging camp.





1708
With Swedish troops on Norwegian soil is unacceptable. Norway moves out with their army to meet them!

I send my main forces up on the highground, leaving militia units in the fortres to cover my flank



On the other side, Sweden shows no sign to move, and position most of their men in a simple line formation. There Command who is NOT a general is positioned somewhat far behind the swedish lines.



I move my main forces into 3 lines, and I will use a tactical frontal assult, sending one line forward, let them shot their volly, then the next line etc.



On the swedish far right flank, they have left a unit for themselvs, leaving them vulnerable for my cav, and ofc, I send my cav around the front line, my 3 units of cav, wipe out the unit.





Sweden is sendin a unit to support thouse who are attack by my cav, however, they are to late. And I charge my cav on them aswell, who is standing lonly far away from the swedish main forces.





Then I get the good news that I killed the enemy Commander. not very wise of the AI to send the commander alone agains cav.



As the pictures show, everyone was killed.



On my far right flank, I ordered my militia to flank around, the Sweeds se this and send their only cav units, on my 4 militia units. Witch leads to their retreat.



While all of this is happening, Im also attacking with my main forces, and the sweeds are outnumber, so I decied to charge them.





Then my cav flanks around from the back of the swedish army.

Swedish army try to run away, but are showen no mercy.



I think I lost to many men in this attack, but I still manged to keep controll the entire battle. However, 3 swedish untis are mangeing to regroup, General Børil Olsen takes with him the cav, and attack the last units who ran away.









A simple charge was needed.

After the battle, General Børil Olsen, gets 4stars, and a moral bonus to his men. And Russia request allience with Norway, who accepts. Norway belives this will help both countrys against the war with Sweden. Norway is now protected from the south, wih the danish and to the east where Russia is. Ths means if anyone will attack across land, they will cross Norwegian alliances.

1709
The Norwegian army is getting bigger, and need to move troops to Fort Frederiksten. All the militia is ordered to move to the fort. Ramund Sjoberg is a Norwegian resercher, he is sent to Sweden to steal tecnology, because Norway lacks of it. And while he is in Uppsala, he can se Stockholm, and report back to Norway that there is not so many troops guarding it. Is this the chanse for Norway to end the fighting on their own soil? On Swedish easteren front with Russia. St. Petersburg is besige, but the swedish garrison, mange to fight off the Russians.

1710
The Norwegian army marches on to Stockholm, but instead of siging the town, it attacks its armys outside, then the garrison in the city wont join the fight.

I position my army on a small sloop. There I sit and watch what the sweeds will do. I could attack fast to get rid of the enemy before any reinforcement arrives.



Sweden regroup all the armys and put them in the middel of the map in a large line formation. This forces me to attack them, so I move my forces up.





While Im moving up, Im being attack by their cannons, It dose some dameg, but Im most worry about the moral.



The sweeds have set one of their cannons on their left flank, and abit infront of the army, this mean a cav attack from my side.





I charge one of my cav units on the arty, while I send 2 cav units on the infantry behind it, then I avoid the sweeds infantry to put leathal rounds agains my cav.



With the cannons disabled, I pull my cav back. With the infanry, I make a line that match theirs, And im also sending 5 units of line infantry to the left flank, this leaves my main army, abit fewer then the swedish numbers.



With my main army, my infantry meets contact earlyer then I planed, and my left flank, is far behind.



Instead of pulling back to waint on my left flank. I decide to attack with my main army, they are already under fire, and the cannons are getting really annoying, with my middel part of the main army, I charge 2 units to attack the cannons. This leaving a hull in my main forces.







The swedish is fast to respond to my offencive tactics, but I manged to get rid of their cannons. it forces me to lose one unit, because they start running, and the second one has lost many men, eaven when I pull back early.



My left flank is still far away....



However, I seam to get the upper hand on the right flank, this is good news indead. Trying to get my men to surround the sweeds after a unit retreated.



On sweeds right flank, they have set up a units abit behind the main army, I send my cav to get rid of them.



Sweeds right flank, they are holding up well. The shoothing has been going on for quite some time now. So I decide to spilt my cav.



While my cav is flanking from behind, I order my men to hold fire. While the swedish unit behind, get routed by my outher group of cav





On my right flank, bad news follows. my men are retreating, after the swedish filled my hole that ws emty in the middel (after the cannons charge) Then my right flank was cut off, this I notice when I replized that everybody on the right, was running.



Still, some good news aswell, my left flank army have finally arrived. Now I was clearly outnumbering the enemy, I sent some of my men from the main forces to attack the hole in the middel, so that I dont get flanked again.



While this was happening I sent my cav around and behind the swedish army and throw the forrest. Trying to use my cav to regain controll on my right flank.





It was a fine plan, and it worked great, but then I had to pull my cav, back due to spear men was moving twords them.

Fighting for controll of the middel, you do not see it, but the sweeds are comming with 2 units of ifantry right behind.





The spearmen was running after my cav, so I sent 2 units of line infantry to stop them.



I order my men to charge, Iv done some damage to them, and theyr weak. I just need to make them retreat.





While Im winning for the most part right now, I still lost the middel position, however this seamed to be the last standing unit from the swedish forces.

Swedish forces is beaten, the army in the town, retreats, it comes charging up again thow, but they got crushed in auto battle.

Then, Norway focus on the prize, there is still a local garrison there, and Norwegians armys are much weaken already. However, Børil Olsen orders to march on to Stockholm.



Battle for Stockholm fort 1710

The sweeds have 4 mortars units, and they position them outside of the fort wall, 2 on the right side, and to on the left. They are completly unprotected, so whats it gonna be? oh yes, my cav.



Still while my cav is moving, the mortars is doing quite some damage, and my mens moral, is low.

While the cav moves twords the second one, I move my INF up twords the fort, still under heavy mortar



And there Im rid of the second mortar position, where there commander was also, who died.



So now the assult can begin, with the sweeds position up on the wall facing to the right of the picture, I move my men to the left. A frontal assult on a fort is not very wise. So I order my men to clim up on the side facing twords the picture. However, I dont plan to win on the wall.



My men mange to get in controll of the gate, i Thought it was Sweden who had it, but sure, I accept. I move the rest of my army inside the fort.





And take the flag.



When my men was placed inside the fort, with the flag, I ordered evey unit who where on the wall to retreat.



Then I simply hold the flag, until the timmer ran out,

Norway exemt region from taxes, to gain loyalty by the people who live in sweden. Norway also start repairing all the damage, and starts to recruit the army back to its full strenght. With now finally a university, Norway starts to research military tecnologys, That will support them agains the war with the sweeds, who still hold their easteren regions. And Børil Olsen recives another star

Update 3

1711
Norway is already behind on technologies. So they decided to traded with Great britain. Norway gives 3000 for 10 turns. And in return Great Britain gives technologies: Square Formation, Naval shore facilities, Flintlock Cannon, Seasoning. Now Norway can upgrade their Naval buildings. Aswell as the navy upkeep is lowered. Still Norway focus on military tec, then they will focous on upgrading their traiding docks.
After Norway captured Stockholm, there was still a Swedish ship at port malmø, Norway is sending one of their militia units from Christiania, to get them out twords the Norwegian fleet.
Due to the agreement with the British empire, Norway must have Sweden to pay their taxes. The people ddont like it, but they do not rebel. All the way to the north, Kirkenes where a mine is buildt. Sweden have sent a unit to raid it.

1712
Norway promots a new general, who have the name of Bergren knutsen, 5 star. He brings the cav from General Børil Olsen. And ride north to deal with the Swedish unit who is raiding Kirkenes. While in the south, militia forces have reach Malmø, and the Swedish ship is forced to leave, and the norwegian fleet under command of Hendrik Paulson attacks. The Swedish ship is a trade ship, agains Norwegians 5 fifth rate ships. Norway manage to capture the ship, but they decided to sink it. After that, the fleet head to malmø, to repair the small damage they got on one of the ships.





1713
Bergren knutsen with his cav manage to reach the swedish Infantry who are marching on Norwegian soil in the north. He wipe out the infantry with the loss of 2 men. The same time, Norway send its fleet to finland. Finland is under swedish flag, and this should not be for long when the fleet reports back that there is no swedish army in the area. Norway try to act fast, and are sending general Børil Olsen, with 9 units of line infantry. The infantry have already been in combat so they know what they are doing. However, when Sweden watch that Norway is advancing twords Finland, then they send a army from st. Petersburg. But its to late, Norway sige Finland, and demands surrender. The local garrison are outnumbered and the Swedish order is washing away, they accepts. Norway starts to make better roads across finland, to improve, their trading with Russia. The swedish Army that was moving to aid Finland, is now returning to st. Petersburg.

Outside the port Staraya Ladoga, in Ingria rigion. Sweden have 2 ships. This 2 ships are blocking the movement from Finland and across the sea into Ingria. Norway sends its fleet to make way, so that in the future, the invasion of Ingria can start. Also this will destroy the only ships Sweden currently have. Norway wins the sea battle, and the swedish fleet is destroyed. The Norwegian Fleet heads to Visby, to repair damage. Admiral Hendrik Paulson is promoted to 5star.

Norway have stoped their own nation (region Norway) for taxes, to make the villagers grow faster. In Finland Norway upgrades the building Military Governor's Barracks and at the village Vasa they are upgrading the smiths.

1716
Norway research Physiocracy, then start with Division of Labour. The plan is to upgrade their trading ports.
In the village Lieska, they are upgrading the fur trader to fur market.
Norway want to attack St. Petersburg in Ingria, but with their capital region not paying taxes they are abit short on income, and cant afford to make more troops. However, Norway is ready to move in quick, if the Russians decide to attack the region, then Norway will get their support. Later that year, Russia marches out with an large army twords St. Petersburg, Norway marches forward along the line between Finland and Ingria. Durring the winter, the Russian army marches in twords St. Petersburg

1717
Norway army with 7 veteran line infantry and 3 veteran cav (the same cav as Iv always used) under the command of Bergren knutsen, crosses the sea and into Ingria. General Børil Osen is still back at Åho making sure to keep order. After Norway crosses the sea, the Russian sige the town St. Petersburg, and then next turn, Norway moves attack the town and Russian assists.



Battle for St. Petersburg 1717

I enter the battlefield from the North, while Sweden start Northwest, and Russia East. And I barly have mange to get all of my units before the sweeds cav, charges me.





Not to worry thow, with only one cav unit, agains my entire army. I mange to route the enemy cav, still I lost quite some men, in one of my units.



On the opposit side of the town I was on, South. The Russian sended most of their men, Sweden sent just a few. Iv never played a battle like this because it was all so out of controll. The Russians were moving really fast, and all over the map, really to far spreaded out.

Think the picture above is North side of city. Anyway, while I was trying to figure where I should send my army in this messy battle, I realise I took some mortar fire. Still Because of the mess, I coulndt find the mortars on the map, something that very annoying.





However, I found a spot where most of the Sweeds where. In this forest and the ruin behind it. So i decided to sent my men over there. And let the Russian do the random fihgting throw out the city.





While I was moving twords the enemy, then the enemy general charges my army alone. That really made my thinking for some time, why was he doing that?? Anyway I sent my 3 cav units twords him.





The general died, as well did the entire unit. After that I order my troops to run, I put my troops along a headgrow to watch the forest on the opposite side of the runis where I spotted the enemy earlier. There was also a house there that I put one of my units into.







Then suddenly the entire enemy army retreats. The moral must have been really low, quite amasing to se so many soldiers route. So to really finish them, I send in my cav.

With Ingria in Norwegian hands, Sweden ask Norway to sign a peace treathy, Norway will accept with sertain terms. To recive all their technology, and money to repay the damage for the war Sweden started. Sweden do not accept the counter offer, and the war goes on. However, Sweden only hold Estonia & Livonia, and Right after the battle for St. Petersburg 1717. Bergren knutsen moved his army into the Norwegian fleet with the course twords Estonia & Livonia. And by the end of the year, Knutsen's army is outside of Riga.







1718
Bergren knutsen recive reinforcments from Stockholm, and start segin the town Riga. And it dossent take long time before Sweden's last army attacks

I forgot to take a overview picture, so with my rusty english it would be hard for me yo explain, ill let the pictures tell you this stoy, and you yourself can try to imagen what happend.

After the battle was over, Sweden ask Norway again for peace. No (r) way.



Norway attack the remaining units guarding the fort, thouse who surrvived the last battle.

Battle for Riga Fort 1718

So the fort. The last of the sweed. Im got more manpower then them so this battle should be an easy one. As usuall, it seams that the defender is getting the upperhand in the begining, thow that is soon to be change. My men climb up the fort and the real battle begins



I positioned half of my infantry intfron of the gates, aswell as my cav behind my inf. Hoping that my men would manage to open the gate from the wall. However the AI shows they tactical master mind and send out Armed civilians throw the gate, I ofc charged them.



While that happens, up on the wall it seams eaven chanse to win, so I decide to move some more men up there, from the infantry I positioned outside of the gate.



Then I get better news from the AI master mind, He send the general out twords his doors, I charge with my INF and my cav. ANd the enemy general dies.





On the wall, I slowly mange to gain controll, by flanking the sweeds from both sides

Victory!

And the Swedish forces are dead. They decleared war, Norway requested peace, they denied and they lost the war and there exsistans. So what will Norway do now? They are allience with the countrys around them such as Russia and Denamrk, witch is protecting Norway from their flanks. Good ralation with the Brits, due to trade.

Update 4:


1719
Norway now have no enemy in europe. And seek to improve their state. They gather an army nearby Malmø in sweden with General Bergren Knutsen. Aswell as the fleet from Hendrik Paulson is being split into 2 fleets, so that we can transport the large army to Knutsen. The enetire army going with Knutsen did fight in the war agains sweden, so they know what to do when they fight. So, the heading is India. Norway also started traiding with Poland.





Current status for for India. Norway do have Trading agreement with Marathas They asked, so I said yes. Then I would have good realitions with some countrys when I was invanding India.

1720
Fire by rank, tec is done reseearching. That will help in my fire fights in India. In Norway/Europe. The Poland army is losing, and request allianse with me, after Norway agreed in a traiding in 1719. So due to Poland is losing, its not a worty allience. Norway dossent agree with the offer.



1720
Norwegian fleet have arrived India, now Norway get this offer from the Mughals



Norway agree to this offer, a large payment for a small town, but it would provide a safe lading for Norwegian troops. The downside of this deal is the alliance. Because Norway dont plan to me allians with some Islam country.



Due to Norway is alliance with Mughals, then the plan changes. Norway declear war on Marathas. We also ask our Alliences, not to bother. However, the French joined the war, with the Marathas

1721:



Norway, moves north and capture the large city Satara, with help of the mongols army nearby. This will be a good town to provide for my invasion. In he following years, I destroy every india building, and build Norwegian shiny building, as well as a Chruch School.

1725:
Norwegian is using all their money and efforts on Christianize their position in India.

Norwegian is using all their money and efforts on Christianize their position in India. Aswell as scouting abit around, It seams like there is going to be large batles. And Norway hope, that Marathas do quite some damage to Mongols, so when the Marathas are done, the Mongols are maybe weak.



Update: 5

1726:
Norway are scouting across India with their fleet. Their conclution is that Marathas are very weak, they are holding a single region all the way to the south (Carnatica), with a small army guarding it. Mughals have a great army right outisde, but they dont attack for some reason. Mysore is in Mughals controll with a large army inside, right outside Marathas have a huge army. But here as well, theyr just standing watching eachother. to the East for Bijapur (Norwegians bigist town in India) there is a town named Hyderabad, is a large town not being guarded well by the mughals (actually, there is no units there) and the same with a small town to the North name Ahmadnagar. And the same again future north in India. It seams that the mughals have all their armys down to the south fighting agains Marathas. Now if norway decide to countinue the fight with mughals, then when Marathas have been wiped out, then they have large army to attack Norway with (if they or Norway declare war, and Norway do want the entire India) If Norway make declare war on Mughals, then Norway need to fight on several fronts in India, and maybe when both "indian" countrys is threaten by one, they might (highly unlikly) get peace with eachother and maybe (eaven more unlikly) have an alliance. That would make Norwegian stand alot harder in India. The British is also good friends and allies with Mughals, they might help the mongols if Norway attack them.

The third option is to make peace with Marathas, and then declare war on Mughals. This is good because then the 2 india factions wont have a commen enemy. And Marathas, wont move their troops away form mughals. That means the mughals armys to the south, will be keept at bay, and NOT move up twords Norwegian towns before they have beaten the Marathas witch could take time. This is the solution the Norwegians decide to follow.

So the Norwegians recruits more soldiers (early this year), and prepare to attack the Mughals, it must happen fast, if not. The emty towns from Mughals will be filled with Soldiers.



Then later the same year
Norway declare peace on Marathas who accepts (with a gift worthy of 10 000), and Norway declare war on Mughal. As feared, British join the battle, so the traiding agreement is over. Persia also joined the battle, however Norway have never seen a ship from Persia, nor an army. So Persia wont be a problem, before Norway is knocking on their border.

So, the assult begins. General Bergren Knutsen, splits his army. He will march on Ahmadnagar, the small town, where the Mongols have most soldiers. With him is 2 Arty units, from Sweden. And 6 units of Line infantry, all of the fought agains the Swedish. The a line infantry from a company.

The second army will march on Hyderabad with 6 units of line infantry who fought in the war agains Sweden, and 3 units of line infantry from the same company, leaded by Cpt. Harald Eriksen

My army



And theirs, they only had 3 units of this type.

So, due to me outnumbering them, on both tecnology and manpower, I went quite directly to just run up to the wall and climb the it, and kill them.









For some reason, they charged out the gates, something I would never do if my enemy was outnumbering me. But sure, makes the battle go faster for me.





At this corner i had some problems. The enemy was standing so close to each other on this small set of "stairs", and it was hard to move my army around to the other side.



At the gate, the enemy army routed. And I moved in to flank the enemy at the stairs.



Then finally I mange to flank the enemy at the corner, and that was the end.



Easy and boring battle

So plan is going well so far, Hyderabad is in Norwegian hand, Cpt Harald Eriksen has done his part. Now its up for Bergren Knutsen to do his.



Battle for Ahmadnagar 1726

So, I can barly set up my units before the enemy attacks.



Im making a simple, large line formation to fight off the enemy, with my Cannons behind next to my general. However, I must send Knutsen out to take care of the enemy Mortar unit due to I do not have any other cav units with me. The enemy mortar unit is place on hilltop to my right flank. There was also a enemy infantry unit on their way to flank my army, my General passed between the unit, and the enemy main army.



This was the last thing the mortar crew saw.





Then I ordered my general to go back to my main army right flank, and take care of the enemy unit flanking me. my main army just sat there and wainted for the enemy main army to advacen, notice how many I hit on the picture above. The "fire by rank" tec really gave me the upper hand.



Here you can se enemy unit flanking me on my right flank. not to worry, I sent my General to charge the enmy from the rear.



No pictures of my general charging, but I can se they crushed the enemy unit. On my left flank, armed civilians charge.



Nothing really happening on the main front, my units are better, both in skills and tecnology.



The enemy see that, and decided to charge me instead, a desperate last attemt, but it it didnt go long before they had to riot from my army.

Then Christianize the new regions. and make Norwegian buildings, that might take a while. The new regions, do not need to pay taxes. Reason for that is to gain their loalty. However, Norway do not wish to stay at war with Britain, it could be a problem with our trade lines from india to Norway, they trading ships is going throw the English cannal, Before Norway request peace, they look at their relation with Britain. And that is actually good, eaven when in war. So Norway just request peace, the Enlgish come with a counter offer, saying this:

Norway have done nothing agains Austria, still they declare war. This battle Norway do want their allies to join, espesially Russia, because we are sharing boders with the Austrians. This shocking event made Norway focus more on their homeregion. Then they realise Poland have been counquered by Austria. So Norway is sharing borders with them at their town Riga, Norway therefor move many of their men from Sweden and Finland down to Riga, so they can protect themselfs agains an invasion. Luclky for Norway, Both Danish and Russia joined the war. The militia forces Norway had in different places get disband and replaced by line infantry.
Look how huge Austria is on the minimap.

Still Norway do not want to recruit new soldiers in Europe. They belive they have enoguh for the moment to defend themselfs. That means that the Norwegians dont want to attack. In India on the other hand, Norway will be recruiting more soldiers. They are looking to exspand North, because of the week guarded towns owned by the Mughals. To the south, there is nothing happening, but the Mughals and Marathas is keeping eachother at bay. Means that the Norwegian south border is safe, but for how long?

Norway still belives that Mughals and Marthas will be battleing down to the south for a while, so Norway still advances North. Trying to it as fast as posible. The Mughals soldiers to the north is spreaded out, one unit here another one there. It makes alot of battles, but battles that barly eaven kill norwegian troops. General Bergren Knutsen moves his army up north to the city Ahmedabad. Another large city, guarded by 2 units. Its almost like they are giving it to Norway. Rest of the year is being used for spreading christianity.

The mughal army in Mysore have destroyed the large army to Marthas, this make Norway abit nervous. There might come an assult at any time now from the south, and Bergren Knutsen is still advancing North. However, with all the new companies in India, Norway decided to get a new General, one who can lead the soldiers from the company. His name is Ingemar Bruun. At once he arrive at Hyderabad, he is called out to action due to the random mughal unit all over the place. He beat them all.



Bergren Knutsen army finally arrived at Ahmedabad and attack the town, due to the low number guarding it, it was AUTO BATTLE. And he won.



After the victory agains Ahmedabad, he spilted his army into 2 pars, where he sent the second part to take Udaipur. Again auto battle due to the low number of units guarding it and again victory.



Then here as well, Away with India buldings, and Norwegian buildings replaced them.

1730 --> 1733
Bergren Knutsen tok some units from his army and marched on the city Ujjain, the city next to the 2 he took in 1729. Again because of the low number of unit guarding it. Auto battle --> victory



East for that town again, you find Nagpur. General Ingemar Bruun sent his army to the town, auto battle victory.



To the south, Mughals are siging the last town of Marthas, if mughals win that battle, then they will most likly attack to the North, something Norway issent ready for.



Now theese 3 years is a boring time. Norway is wasting time on making every region Christianty, instead of recruting more troops to capture more land, and guard regions. As well as random units from Mughals is all over the map, rading dNorwegian villages. Thank god for Auto battle


United provinces have taken Paris. Its a heav fight for Paris, I notice that Spain constanly lunches "sea invasions" However, Iv not seen anything to the French.



Then Norway get som shocing news:

Then General Ingemar Bruun and General Bergren Knutsen regroup at the enemy town Akbarabad (the town to the north, Mughals capital I belive) Where they crused armed civilians (no units guarding it-->auto battle)

Down to the south I send my priest in, to make Mysore Christian, my plan is to delay the huge Mughal army at that position. if im lucky there will be some civilian unrest. And as you can se on the minimap, the mughals lost the battle for Arcot (marthas last stand)

Ingemar Bruun and his army stays at Akbarabad, There will most likly be a rebellion there. However bergren Knutsen moves his army North west and capture Lahore and Kashmir. Now Norway only miss southeren India, and Nerroon and Afghanistan then India will be in the right hands.

In the miscellaneous subforum there was created a thread for this and it has been ignored by the users. I cannot ignore myself the fact that most visitors need easy access to information, and the easiest access is the front forum right now.

I want to reward those who allocate time to write a good story and take epic screenshots by giving them maximum visibility for their work.

I think I will head for India, last time I played I tok Europ, then after Europe was under my command I tok India, but when I marched for India I had to much money and to many soldiers so that was an easy battle. If I go there now It might be harder. Then later on when I get controll over a small area in India, (2-3 regions) then I could also start to go to America, then I will be figting in all teather, something that would be rather hard. Unlees I change my mind, or somebody got another good suggestion.

But i you think of resources, would it be better to head to America or India??
And also, after testing a battle on hard, I found that more realistic and better. So is it posible to change difficulty in campaign? or do I have to start over?
