I can't install RS 2

Hi everyone,
I am a young french guy, so please excuse me for my bad english

I tried to install RS 2 this morning, so I copied RTW, I add the patch 1.3, the patch 1.5, I add Vanilla mod (but I don't now if I have to add it on the RTW file or not)

I tried to download the files I found there : http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=386559
but I had an error message during the installation of the first file :

Source file not found : C:/Users/(le nom de mon ordi)/Downloads/RS21.cab. Verify that the file exist and you can access it.

If someone could help me, that would be very nice

PS : I am on Windows 7

Make sure all your files are in the same folder, including the setup file.

The setup.exe, the msi file, and all 4 cab files must be in the same folder.

PS : But I have another bug now -_-"

I have install the game, I can see the icon, I started it with the launcher, I choose my faction (Carthage) and the game I have (RomeTW.exe) but I had an error message asking me if I chose my faction well. I say yes, and I have another error message telling me that I probably made something wrong, and i have to refer to the 3 next messages :

- First message : "You haven't install RS II in the correct folder (C:\Programmes\Activision\Rome - Total War\RS 2)"
- Second message : "Engine : RomeTW.exe, Faction campaign : -mod:play_carthage"
- Third message : In total: 'RomeTW.exe -mod:play_carthage RomeTW.exe -mod:play_carthage -show_err -nm -movie_cam'

I haven't understand the 2 last messages so I hope I the first message is right ^^

Thats because RS2 isnt a mod, its a total conversion, meaning you need to have a seperate rome total war installation, out of program files (so C:/RS2). Secondly, you need to install RS2 into the top folder, actually into the RTW folder, not in a folder again, so that it looks like in my screenshot.

Now the game only ask me if I have choose my faction. I said yes, and I saw a red image "Rome TW" as we see when we start RTW.

But this time I had another (again ) error :'(

The message said :

"Failed to initialise 3D audio"

I don't like this :/
I will never have RS because of this error ?

I dont know anything about the 3D audio though, have you updated your sound card drivers etc?

But I only can see the first picture when the game is launching, and after, the game stops himself :'(

That is so infuriating to see the game starts and stop immediatly ... :'(

Which first picture do you mean? Can you screenshot it?
And are there any error messages?

I can't screenshot it, it's too fast.

The image is black on the sides, and yellow/orange in the center, with "Roma Surrectum 2"

And I have not error messages ...

However it should be there much longer.

Ok in your RS2 folder theres some .bat files, called RS2_alex, RS2_BI, and RS2_RTW. Can you load the one that corresponds to your version and tell me what happens please.

I have a black window call "C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe"

I can read :

1. Play custom battle with RTW
2. Play Rome with RTW
3. Play Carthage with RTW
4. Play Seleucid with RTW
5. Play Free Greeks with RTW
6. Play 1-turn main campaign with RTW
7. Play Macedon with RTW
8. Play Pergamon with RTW
9. Play Ptolemaic with RTW
a. Play Sparta with RTW
.... (idem with other factions)
l. Play Scythia with RTW
Type the number or letter to play.
