    Default My problem

So this is how i created my problem:

I downloaded all six required packages for the RSII mod. I put them together in file on my desktop. (i had to move them on a usb, but that makes no difference i think).
I installed them at first in a new map i called RS2 under Rome-Total war, wich i copied to a another folder. Problem was this folder was outside the c:/, so i couldn't locate it to install it.

It is so -somehow, too long ago to remember- i have a map called Activision where my rome total war folder is in and all my save games. No other expansions or mods or whatever. Just a modified folder so i can play all factions on the campaign. I moved this folder under 'The Creative Assembly' folder wich - i thought) was taken from, so i "put it back". Then i copied the RS2 under this rome - total war folder. It didn't work and it said it was installed in the wrong map. Then some idiotic things i did; i moved stuff, deleted about two RS2 folders wich were the same. But now the problem is i lost all my savegames and the mod is still not working. The menu comes up but when i select faction and click play, an error comes up with 3 questions/notes. It is installed in the wrong folder, can't play that faction and something else.

    So what i do know?

First of all welcome the forum.

My head hurts after reading that! What three questions? At a guess it may be something about not using the correct exe - this usually means you've not got one of the RTW exes in the right place. But as I don't know what you are referring to I will stop wasting my time.

We do recommend that RSII be installed over a 'clean working copy' of RTW. If you fail to do that then anything is possible.

I don't understand why if you install outside of the 'c' drive you cannot see it.

I just found the installatian guide quite confusing. What is clean? Should i have a folder under Programfiles (x86) with The Creative Assembly under that Activision, and under that Rome - Total War?
Where do i install RS2 in? Next to activision, next to rome total war, or into rome total war?

Because the guid suggested me to copy the rome total war folder somewhere else because RS2 changes much of RTW. Also what .exe do i use? I used the launcher on the desktop, that didn't work, so i used it in the launcher folder under RS2. (wich was a bit better, but still error)

    Thank you for your time

Claen means that there is no other mod installed in you rtw folder.
Just install into your rome total war folder and not in activision or sega folder.
Like this C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA(or Activision)\Rome Total War.
