Game wont go to menu!

Ok,I verrified integrity of cache,i defragmented,and reinstalled my game..
Well i downloaded a mod and started it with mod manager,But when i started the game,It hung on the load screen with the creative assembly,napoleon total war in big letters,but wont go to menu!
idk what to do!

I would also delete this folder if you have not already. (it is hidden so you might need to enable "view hidden files and folders" in control panel/folder options)

Does it load witout the mod?

Ok,i deleted the napoleon file where the scripts and everything are,and i reinstalled it!
Now it just launched 2 minutes ago,it shows the loading cursor,not the napoleon cursor,and its staying at the loading cursor for about 2 minutes now!
Idk if its because its gathering the files for the game...

Im gonna let it run overnight and see if it goes to the menu!

PS:any ideas of why it takes a long time to load?

UPDATE: Im running a disk fragmentation right now,I will let it run overnight,
it may be that issue,Cause it doesnt crash or anything,just hangs at the loading screen.

Ok i ran a disk fragmentation...Didnt work....BUT I have 2 big programs i need to delete so I will see what happens after that,i will post screenshots later of my files in ntw and scripts and the problem!

My screenshots wont upload,any other solutions?

PS:still takes a long time to load,no game yet....

Check your permissions through your security/firewall/router for Steam and Napoleon.

Your cpu can be whats doing it for one as it is below spec after the third update.
Your RealTek drivers could be conflicting. Uninstall them in Device Manager, then try it.

Thats a problem...
My Realtek drivers is what is running the sound for my cpu!
If i unistall that,i dont have any sound!

I realize that. Just do it and if it works, I have the antidote.

It didnt work,waiting 5 minutes,nothing happened,i went to device manager and uninstaleld the realtex audio device,Still doesnt work!

Have you checked your permissions through your security/firewall/router? Have you tried it with your antivirus disabled?

1.How do you check the router?
2My antivirus has been off for 6-8 weeks
3.my firewall has napoleon and steam with a check mark with permission to go through!

I don't know how to check the router but some do have their own hardware firewall from what I understand. This you would have to research.

By any chance has Windows sneaked its firewall on?

Ok,I misunderstood,I only have Windows Firewall!

I looked at the firewall and steam and Napoleon Total War is on the exception list!

One got better luck disabling something like Steam Community in Steam even in offline mode. May want to try that.
