How can I kill Ents with Isengard?

I have Tested to kill them whit archers and Uruk Hai-Raiders.
i lost 1200. Orc Against 24 Ents!
WTF
How do i kill them

a charge in the roar could work but you have only warg raiders i dont realy know as i don't play as Isengard. Welcome to the forums

Ive never played as Isengard though if you can get ballistas then use them. Their extremely effective against high armour units such as Ents and Trolls. Im not sure about this but I think the size of the Ents also makes them easier to hit. Hope that helps.

As I know, most "monsters" dont have model proportional hitbox and so trolls are still hard to hit.
I don't know how's ents, but i guess same with trolls?

Ents are classified as heavy cavalry AFAIK, try to hold them down with spears, stakes and other anti-cavalry tactics. Don't let them flank you. They have many hitpoints so it will take a while before the first one falls. After the first one falls the rest will follow soon.

I'm not sure but I would have thought that ents would be heavy infantry, the same as trolls as they are a lot more similar. After all in lore trolls were copies of ents.

No ent's are not infantry, they are elephants or as Muffer said cavalry, but as they don't die on stakes I expect them to be elephants!

I can't recall if Isengard gets snaga skirmishes or not, but if they do, use lots and lots of them as javelins take down anything big.

I think they do. Snagas and Ballista. That should answer all your Ent related problems

In fact snagas are nor really effective, because thay don't have "effective against armour" ability. Maby you should try kill them with crossbowman; balistas should be effective too, but they are not really accurate. However good luck in chopping them for wood

snagas are elephant type unit (count ent's in as well) killers machines, I hate them but as Isengard fanboy I can approve how effective they are against them. Ballistas are good too if you hold ent's back to aim at them.

the only reason the trolls are made as infantry so that they could use siege weapons....
but on the other hand, it's quite annoying to me watching trolls climbing ladder or go through stair cases...

They couldn't just make a completely separate Troll model that's infantry and have the normal trolls coded as elephants? Because I agree, ladder trolls annoy me to no end.

Yep. The lameness of having trolls on your keep walls completely mitigates the awesome factor of troll operated siege weapons.

Its also cause AI would use them to flank the enemy cause theyre characterized as cavalry and that wouldnt really fit them. So you would steal them their strength to frontally rush into the enemy.

Definetly the best way to kill Ents with Isengard is by using crossbowman. I've just tested this and the crossbows were incredibly effective

Hi, I have a little question, I never succeed in recruiting Ent in my campaing even if I played silvan elves so... How could I recruit them ? (in some specifics places ? With wich factions ? ...)
