bribing enemy army = giving out a lot of money, usually to disband most of them and letting a few of the remaining units joining your faction.
You will need like 50,000~100,000+ to be able to bribe enemy army. Make sure you have enough money to bribe.
on a side note, this makes bribing kinda useless in the game: Why bother spending 80,000 to bribe just to disband a opposing full stack when you can just make 3~4 full stacks with the money and crush an empire.
On your PC, the units seem to perform quite poorly. I think there might be something nearby the PC that is causing this problem for you. You may need a mirror to find out what it is.
Bribing is totally broken. It is cheaper and easier to buy towns and castles than trying to bribe some worthless rebel general for like 500 000.
Cassius: "Our men at arms have secured the city. We've received representatives from all the best elements. The senate is with us, the knights are with us."
Brutus:"The pontifs, the urban cohorts, the lictors guild..."
Antony: "Oh, the lictors guild, very good. Only rally the bakers and the flute players and you can put on a festival."
yes, i have always wanted bribery fixed; it was completely viable in rome but i've never been able to use it in any version of medieval.
yeah ive been trying to bribe El Cid forever im just about to give up at kill the guy...wut a shame that general had like 5 comman and 9 chivalrous![]()
I don't think it's possible to bribe someone that chivalrous without having over a million, if it even is possible at all
yeah ive pretty much given up lol
While we are on the topic for bribes....
Shouldnt rebel generals be easier to bribe and have less loyalty?
I mean, they are rebels after all.
exactly thats why i find it ridiculous that u cant bribe them
Bribing them also gives them a disloyalty-like trait, due to the ability to bribe them in the first place, doesn't it?
Yea I think so, but I havent seen a rebel generals in a while that had anything lower then 8 loyalty
I don't ever bribe enemy/rebel generals. I don't have any respect for traitors in the first place; it kind of carries over into SS. Silly, I know, but we play how we play.
