    Default Help picking my capital city

    ok so ive taken over all of spain so leon, portugal and the moors are gone and i dont know which place to put my capital by default they gave me my capital in Zaragoza but since i have the whole area now i wus wondering if anyone could help me out or atleast explain to me wuts the best places for capitals? thnks in advance

    should be your largest or most devolped city, or at the center of your empire, OR a well known city eg. egypt changing thier captial to jeruslam or turks changing it to antioch

    You can leave it in Leon and you probably won't have problems, when you do have a big empire just try to put it in the center of it, to help with public order

    Public order is less important, corruption is what matters. Save, move the capital around to different cities while keeping track of how much the total income is each time, and once you find the best spot, reload and move the capital there directly.

    Does it cost money to move your capital? In TATW it does not but I remember in some mods like Chivalry II it definitely costs some cash.

    Yea it does...i believe somewhere between 2-5k florins but not sure, i'll check later when home.

    Edit: 2k on M difficulty, 5k on H/VH

    I like to put my capital at Cordoba, its a nice rich city protected by enemy attack because of the distances from any threats. Toledo makes a good capital too, in the center of Iberia and a great castle (if you are playing w/o OST).
