I just cant hold it in once ive written it....

Chapter 3: The Crisis of Italy

Part 1: The Beginning of the End

    Year: 245 BC
    Source: Scribe of Avaros

The men of the Julli Family, are fools. They dare defy us on open grounds with less men as well. its been over a year since a we crossed the alps like Hannibal before us we try to turn the Roman ally's on each other and besiege the Julli town of Segesta. Then they reply by attacking us with 1200 men

Their men were no match for our hordes of horses and men

Avaros spots a Family member of the Julli and orders men to charge him down

    and we kill him.

it was a great victory, another one for the records that make three major victory's for Avaros’s campaign so far and surely more to come. The Julli send over 2000 men, to try and take back Segesta.

It was an easy victory the for records. The fourth Major victory. (infact the Second Historical battle =D)

    The Call of The Senate

    Year: 243
    Source: The Diary of Avaros

It has been 1 and a half years since the taking of segesta, and i have moved on to try and take the Julli capital. With a refreshed army I besiege the city of Arretium. Although while besieging the city, The Roman Senate attack my army. This was a bold move and sealed that fate of Rome and her houses.

My men and I slay many of of their family members

Another Victory we have Rome on their toes now

we Exterminate the populous and send much of the money to Iberia for Construction.

My fourth Historical battle.( I have another at Palma which is mine....)
    this is from one battle

The End of the Julli and a Map Overview

Three Julli family members die in the same year. This is the end of the Julli family.

Very good! However, on the map, you didn't upload the Persia picture, you did the Egypt one twice.

Chapter 4: The conquest of Rome

Part One :The End of Carthage

    Year: 239 BC
Source: Records from the temple of Ba’al in Cirta

    To the King of Numidia

Many winters ago, one of the ruling family members of the Council of Carthage (Now dead or held prisoner) was defeated and killed on the pass between the mountains from Corduba towards the rest of Iberia. We then became under siege, many of my fellow priests and I were concerned. We had heard of the ruthlessness of the Iberian Tribes when treated with hostilities by others.

Had our lords not attacked them then maybe we could still be living in Corduba instead of Numidan Cirta. Still it took the Iberians only till Winter until they attacked us.

Our mighty Lord Theophanes was killed in battle, Leading to the end of the once mighty Carthaginian Empire that spread to all ends of the Mediterranean.
. Also unfortunately for us the Iberian soldiers were allowed to Slaughter, Rape and pillage this old settlement. But I hid my priests in the back, luckily none of the Iberian warriors found us and we left the city safely and fled to Numidia where we are hoping that you almighty king will grant us protection against the Iberians.

    Part 2:The Fall of Rome

    Year: 237 BC
Source: Diary of Avaros the Conqueror
Finally the Roman city of Ariminum has finally fallen to us with the extermination of the city for resisting us. The might of Iberia cannot be held off, I have received word that the city of Carthage has fallen to the Numidians and their last stronghold of Corduba has finally fallen to our warriors.
These Romans have also started calling me Avaros the Cold-Hearted,a fitting name for slaughtering three of their city's and Massalia.

I left Ariminum, to help my uncle siege Rome when two of rome leigions against me. Rome would share the same fate as the rest of the Roman citys if I got to it due to the incompetinance of their leaders. And somehow Arretium rebels.

Both of the Roman Dogs meet their fate at the end of Iberian Steel.

And of course the reason I’m called the cold-Hearted.

    and another Historical battle.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    whats up with this?

A Spartan fighting for the senateand their dead

After all the Resistance they could give the Romans kicked the bucket and give up. I really thought better of them that this. But still the show must go on, I will begin to march on Scipii and Brutii land very soon.

    Edit: Full chapter up

Despite everything, vanilla RTW has some magic going on for itself. It could just be nostalgia, but there is an unique atmosphere that makes it very relaxing and nice to play.

    Nice campaign!

    Chapter 5

Part 1: The Battle of a Capitan

    Year: 230 BC
Source: The Scrolls of Conquest from Carthago Nova
Today, today was a glorious day. Today marks the end of the Numidian Empire. Although Cirta and Tingi have already been conquered by Iberian nobles, Caralis was am important part for Iberian Italy making up some major trade. Although Sicily will also provide much more of that trade, it had yet been unconquered until now. With this city taken Numidia will be driven back to the desert and to extinction. The story on my behalf goes like this.

With only one ram, my men had to batter down the gate and inside where some 150 or 200 men with slings. I charged in 320 of my scutarii, the slingers with little knives had no chance against my well trained scutarii although this was their first battle Numidia’s troops where not of the same quality.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
its true the temple in Rome grants +4 experiance thats 1 silver chevron

When we reached the center of the town, all of the men that Numidia had left fought there in a valiant last stand, but were still no match for my well trained Scutarii and bodyguard of Longsheilds.

Not long after the battle news spread like wild fire across the empire that the free men of Germania had been quelled by our allies Brittania

    Part 2: My Excuses

Sorry I’ve been playing poorly for an AAR style I was playing late last night and I forgot to take some screan shots. though not much will not be missed I auto res’d most of the siege battles, anyway except the ones that were to much for the auto resolve all that is missed is the battles for North Africa. those were not much anyway I auto res’d the battles for the citys as well. I HATE sieges. I will try and get some better footage but I think that this AAR will nor go on for much longer. I will kill all the Brutii the probably finish this and the Empire is becoming hard to manage I will leave the Save for people who wish to play it as well.
