Of course not. It's just some propaganda from muslim extremists to gain support. IMO the main reason is oil and maybe even fighting terrorism.

If necessary, I would want to fight for the Holy Land, on the Jewish side. I really admire the courage and stubborness of the Jews in Israel, fighting against all odds for the last fifty years.

The only way to impose peace in this region is through military force by a third party. If you are expecting either Palestine or Israel to come up with a peaceful solution on their own, then yours is the ridiculous statement.

    I would fight for Palestine.

We Brits really did give them the  end of the stick after the war.

I dont know why the holy land matters to anyone. Just because the city were christ was killed is controlled by Muslims or Jews doesnt change the fact that he died for my sins. Just because the sight were Muhammad ascended to heaven is contollred by christians or Jews shouldnt change anything to a muslim.

Religion isnt about geography its about your own faith, fellings, and beliefs.

I would fight for the Ideal of the Christian or Jewish faith as but not for a region. I mean I would fight for the existance and survival of my religion.

I would stay the hell out of it! My Grandfather was with the British police during the war and both sides spent most of their time trying to kill him, so he had no great fondness for either side.

Of course places matter to religion. Bethlehem, Mecca, Rome, Kurukshetra etc. Jews fight for Israel, however, because it is specifically states that they should have their 'holy land'.

A holy book written over 2000 years ago (and in fact while Israel already existed according to many Biblical scholars...) is not a reason to make a country.

History and culture. In the case of the UK it was simply because it was conquered by a single man, William the Bastard. Until then it was separate fiefdoms ruled by separate men.

We are in Iraq on a mission on freedom and in good faith. America has freed them from the tyranny of a despot and is now fighting against the tyranny of terrorism.

Governments are secular institutions and serve secular goals. Only the Church acting in the name of Christ can declare a crusade. These days I suspect that Christ is more interested in the spiritual relationships of his followers than in some adventure to seize land in his name.

There is no Palestine as far as I'm concerned. As much of a fan of the game and history buff that I am the truth is that "Palestine" is Latin for "Philistine" - thus Syria Palestrina, the Romans renamed it to further insult the Jews after defeating them in the Great Revolt of 66-70 CE. The Jews have always lived in the land of Israel, read your history. No one complains about the nearly 1 million Jews expelled from the Arab world in 1948. The "Palestinians" are a bunch of liars who seem to have a good propaganda campaign, sickening as it is and based on complete utter lies. The so-called occupied territories are historically and still considered by Jews to be Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, the heartland of historic Israel and Judah. Many holy sites to Jews are there.
So guess what? The non-Israeli Arabs who call themselves Philistines who occupy Jewish soil should leave before Israel gets sick of them and their murderous terrorism, and probably invite a war that will only result in their expulsion. Oh wait they pretty much have by electing Hamas, which is just as bad or worse than the PLO terrorists, those two faced bastards. They can have the rest of "Palestine" - Jordan, which the British carved out of their mandate of "Palestine". Oh wait their Arab "brothers" treat them like . Too bad. Israel if it has any sense should disarm and destroy the Arab colonists before they raise an army like Nazi Germany. Nuke them if need be. Screw international opinion, who the hell should listen to the UN, dominated by 2 bit dictators and authoritarian governments, the world hates the Jews anyway, **** em. Israel has been bending over backwards trying to achieve peace with these crazy tribal Arabs who wouldn't know what democracy was if they read it in a textbook. Israel has been too complacent as it is. It should unite and expel these bloodthirsty madmen from the Jewish homeland.
