Medieval & Kingdoms bought through Steam

I tried to add the Heraldry mod for the Kingdoms Britannia campaign. The only difference was that I thought I would have to add the files to the steam folders.

Once I had done it i started the game and nothing had changed. Also, one of the folders I had deleted had magically re-appeared!

Can anyone help me?

Steam will reinstall anything not the way it was released. You will need a mod folder for it to happen.

Thanks for the help but i am confused as to how this link will hlp. Isnt it about edditing the map?

You,re right but most want to play with the map before long, anyway.

I have not tied this in Steam and won't as long as the dvd holds out.

Make a copy of the Brittaina folder in the mods folder.
Rename it to what you want.
In the .bat and .cfg files in your new folder, change the names to match.
