House Baratheon of Storm's End is the youngest of the Great Houses of Westeros. Descended from Orys Baratheon, one of Aegon the Conqueror's finest generals, the Baratheons took the Stormlands by force, slaying the last Storm King, Argilac the Arrogant, in the process. Their seat is the ancient fortess of Storm's End, in essence a giant drum tower, the stones cunningly devised so no furious wind can permeate its walls. It has never fallen to either storm or siege, having been devised by the young Bran the Builder, the man behind Winterfell and The Wall.

In the War of the Usurper, young Robert Baratheon took up arms against the Mad King, and with the help of the houses Stark, Tully, Arryn and eventually Lannister, he crushed Rhaegar Targaryen and claimed the Iron Throne through blood right. Now House Baratheon is in turmoil. Robert, King of the Seven Kingdoms, has been slain by Lannister treachery. Stannis does nothing, brooding in his island fortress of Dragonstone. So it falls to Renly, most beloved of the Baratheon brothers, to avenge his brother's murder, and lay claim as rightful ruler of the Iron Throne.

    Ours is the Fury.

Looks great, but i have only one amendment. I know it has been discussed before but i don't know if you guys ever managed or intend to fix it. The colors on several shields of the supporting liege houses are just too bright, is there a way to make them sort of blend into the scenery by the time 1.0 comes out?

I have to agree here, it's okay if they are bright but the current colours just look wrong, they don't look organic at all, like colours that would've been available in a medieval-like society.

To be fair, Martin often uses some things that wouldn`t be available in a typical medieval setting. Thinking about some dyed armor etc.

Well that isn't altogether strange, but it's more about the colour you would see even then.
We now have all those very bright weird colours bercause of our knowledge of chemistry, and I would say we haven't ahd any indication that they are particularly advanced in that area so they would still have only the more softer colours available for the less ''natural'' colours like poisenous green etc.
Anyway, will you also be making the Baratheon banners without the crown on the Stag if they for example are no longer King pretenders nor hold the Iron Throne?

Renly looks friggin awesome! real nice work there. Seriously, Renlys armour is the most beautiful thing ive seen in MTW, and ive played quite a lot of different mods.

I have to say Renly is one of my favorite unique generals, too. Though lately i think Hannibal created some generals that look even more awesome.

/About the shields. Well, personally i think they look great. Sometimes the light causes them to glow a bit, i guess.

    Smokin'!
But won't these guys trample over House Martell and not even break a sweat? Solid infantry, heavy cavalry and serious archers- as far as I can tell, no weakness in the roster.
And a bit of tarnish on the shields might be nice.

    Highgarden!!!

    Well, you have to consider..

    1. Their heavy units will be ill suited for fighting in the dornish desert. Their units will become tired quite fast.
    2. The Dornishmen are quite mobile and have two kinds of units the other factions lack: Javelinmen and horse Archers. The heavy infantry and cavalry can`t do any serious harm if they are unable to catch you, can they?
    3. Renly will be more inclined to fight Stannis and Joffrey anyway.

It will be like a glorious army of Oberyn Martells.
