    Default Texture problem

    hi guys,

    So here's the deal, Some of the custom weapons I'm trying out ingame turn out different than I had hoped. This is what it show in uu3d:



    Looks pretty good imo, however ingame this is the result:



    I know it's hard to see but if you look at the wooden part then u see some grey on it to! it's not supposed to be there and as seen in uu3d it should be like the first 2 screens. Does anybody knows why this happens?

    Wow thats a nice looking gun, sorry i cant help tho, havent tried messing with the rifles yet..

    Very nice! But like BDIZZLE I can't help. Unlike him its because I have no idea about modelling.

    As always it would be helpful if you would show us a pic of your uv map and the texture (diffuse, gloss, normal)

    Texture errors are to 100 % related to a texture, which don't fit with the uvmap.
    Means in one of the 3 equip_ texture maps (diffuse, gloss, normal).

    The Diffuse map seams to be fine, but whats about the gloss map? Propably it is an reflection from there.

    gloss map is like this (this is with all layers active):


    the normal map is made like u told me through pm

    fixed it, damn the gloss map needs to be completely black :/ I just copied the old one of empire but apparently it didn't work.
