Constantinus approaches the door, and is suprised by the presence of Senator Spurius...he nods to the Senator and takes a seat awaiting the house's owner

A Slave comes and knocks on the door of Decimus Claudius Drusus. The slave appears to be a poor pleb boy but in fact he is Carthaginian but his clothing is that of a middle class worker. The slave knocks again and then places a letter on the ground hopeing that a servant of the household will get it . the slave then left

The letter reads as this

Dear Gaius Julius
You are right about one thing. I do not fear the gods totally. I respect them and i worship the right ones. But i also know that they are not getting fully worshiped by the people of Rome. How many temples to the god mars do you see in the city ?. how many to Jupiter and juno ?. And i will take you up on your offer. I need some allies in the senate. After all it has been a while since any member of my family has been in the senate of the republic. also have you heard of what one of the Consuls of Rome did ?. He burned the temples of the Macedonians and allowed his legions to rape the woman . That is a outrage !
