    Default *Total War Center Steam Clan for TWS2*

    Total War Center Steam Clan

    Hi all

    Considering I only created the clan yesterday and we've already got 26 members obviously shows that there is some interest in having a clan for TWS2 for TWC members. So I'm posting this as an announcement to anyone who is looking to participate to some extent in the new features which TWS2 will bring to the MP scene.

    Wouldn't say that this clan is all too serious, but I believe that it'll make it much easier for TWC members to participate in the MP scene - maybe even to create some tournaments depending on how friendly MP actually turns out to be in the game. I know that there is already a TWC Steam group, but it'll be much easier to find players willing to have a game if were all interested on solely playing TWS2, not RTW or M2TW MP for example.

    If your interested, simply join up via the link below and I'll be updating the page with new details and announcements as and when the game releases.

    =========================================================================

    Update for 11th March 2011:

    Here's the current plan I've worked out guys:

    First, we WILL have a clan-wide custom mon - but that will be the extent of it. The colour and design of the mon will, ideally, be incorporated by everyone. When the game is finally running for me I will hop into MP and have a good look through all of the designs and styles for our mon. Then once its been chosen I will post the mon on here or on the Steam Group page (probably both actually) for everyone to incorporate.

    Secondly, your general and army colour CAN be chosen by you. This is to represent different armies under different generals conglomerating for one cause under a banner, which will be the TWC one. I think that this would be quite cool and it would be much easier to maintain, but if the majority of you guys think that it would be better to standardize everyone under the same colour then I guess we could go for that.

    Thirdly, your general's abilities obviously can be fully dynamic. Let me re-iterate that the only thing which I would want for us all to have is a universal mon to fight under; other than that, your general should fully represent how you want and like to play and that just adds to the realism of you all being independant generals with your own negative and positive traits.

    Lastly, if you guys have any suggestions for how the mon should look e.g. colour wise or how we should all look in general then by all means fire away

    =========================================================================

    Update for 17th March 2011:

    Hi all

    The clan mon has now been designed and if it would be possible to get as many people in the clan using it as possible it would be awesome

    Simply got to my steam profile and view the 3 screenshots that I have posted there. When your there, open the images and read the comment I have placed on each of them as they tell you which of the 3 mon colour options it refers to and the number quantities of Red, Blue and Green that must be typed in to achieve the correct colour

    Hopefully you understand the process and I imagine people would find this much easier if they opened the screenshots in-game via the clan page steam group link; meaning all you have to do is go back to the 'customize mon' screen and Shift-Tab back and forth until its correct.

    Cheers

    EDIT: My steam ID is the same as my TWC ID

    It may be a good idea to include the TWC name as a form of lets get to know each other, and to form that bond of community in the group

    I joined. Steam name is currently Anarchism because my friends wanted to have a battle of ideals on Team Fortress 2. But I will probably change it back to Crazy Hermit soon.

    I like the colour scheme . Maybe give us some more ideas to have a choice we can decide on. Can you do maybe something more simple ?

    Why i'm asking is because i you use the Mon with all the writing on the outside you will not be able to read it when its like on the steam site. As a suggestion maybe the letters TWC in japanese writing style in the middle of the Mon.

    Agreed needs to be simpler to fit into the timeframe. Its neat how we can have our troops fly the twc banner!
