No sea trade from India

I am clueless why i do not get any seatrade from Patala, southernmost Indian province. Playing Baktria, trade rights to Seleucids and Sabans, roads to tradedock, giving 2 trade fleets. From Pura i see Selucids having shipping moving. But for me only landtrade in tradesheet shown, and no shipping moving.
It is bit far off, but that should not stop the seatrade, i think. Nevertheless, i have no idea what gives.

This moment at war with Selucids. But Saba has two ports in Arabia and it was same with peace and rights with Selucids.

The neighbouring Seleucid province at least should be close, and it had an harbour with tradeboats visible. But not with me, with peace and rights. I am not sure about distance, i do not recall seeing this thing before. The distance was first thing in my mind too though.

Certainly, having a go as Romani, sea trade works as should.

try this instead and tell me.

Don't go changing descr_regions.txt it could mess up your game, also any effects won't be savegame compatible.

Regarding sea trade, it's generally done by potential profit, so the route that will make the most money will be the one chosen, there is probably a distance factor too though.
What most likely happened in this case was that the Saba ports were not big enough to trade with the player faction and the Seleukids, so they chose the most profitable route.

If you look closer, it seems that road does not connect to port exactly. But i have no skill about these things. But good to make note, if there is some bug there. Danke.

Game generates roads automatically.

I tried changing the file as you suggested in post 8. There was no change.

Now, bit further in the campaign, Pura in Gedrosia has no seatrade, but neighbouring Karmania has with Saba, both owned by me. 2 tradefleets present in both and in Patala.
Real mystery, since i do get trade in one province. Weird i would say.

It must be some kind of distance issue, for once Saba took the province on north Arabia, sea trade opened up, but only to and from there. Rest of sea trade behaves as one might expect it to do.
Not that i have seen such before.
So it works, albeit in limited way.
