I legit defeated Lithuania on VH/VH with the Teutons in seven turns. Going to have a short nap now, but if anyone replies here I will post screenshots and strategy.

Oh yeah? I played as the Papal States on VH/VH (Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod) and wiped out Milan in 6 turns.
That's how we roll in Vatican, foo!

I had a look at some of the speed runs, especially askthepizzaguy. Looks like people have beat me to this whole "beat the game really quickly" thing. Although he tends to use crusades as an exploit...

Let's see if we can improve on seven turns.

Yes, u have to use crusades, the reason why my run is so long is I didn't, I shall do a blitz long campaign with Sicily to show how it works.

The reason I choose sicily is that I can call a crusade on turn 2 with them after allying with the pope.

Had a little go at the Teutonics this morning, looks like I'm going to finish on 7 turns aswell. Think the trick is to try and get Minsk with one of your original armies, leaving your armies that are in production to take some of the nearer and smaller settlements like Lida and Panevezys.

I shall try blitzing for a change. That will change me from 200 turns games. But i fear that the AI can't do

to defend against a blitz, it's nor programed to react to such a quick agression.

Eh, good. Still, the speedrun record belongs to a guy (forgot his name) who conquered the ENTIRE MAP (excluding Americas) in 20 turns with Turks (I think on VH/VH).
