Default Jeebus that took a while.. (long battles rant)

Is there perhaps a chance that there's gonna be a rebalanced on units in the future? Currently it takes waaaay to long to rout high end units and some Phalanx units don't seem to ever route at all, which leads to some very very long battles, not that it ruins the mod (a very AWESOME mod btw ), but it does get a bit time consuming, which in turn forces me to use auto-resolve on battles that my general can handle so I don't spend an hour per 2 turns fighting stacks and stacks of Macedonian Phalanxes.

Phalanx, something about them that makes them so hard to route, not that their hard to counter it's just that it takes way too long for the battle to resolve, they'll never win if you flank them, I know, even with not-so-great units, however it does take a very long time for them to loose .

I found that a massive force of calvary sorta fixes the problem, but cavalry reliance in battles where you fight multiple reinforcement kinda doesn't work as calvalry stamina goes fast and when a cavalry is stationary and exhausted they are very vulnerable and useless. (One or two Scythed chariots or elephants works great but the Romans and the barbarian factions don't use them )

Just wanted to share my experience so far I might do a hack-job myself with Caligula when I get the sense of the overall balance of the nations.

You should try the ''less stacks and shorter battles'' mod (or something like that). Units have a bit less morale so everything goes faster. As the Romans, a simple line of legionaries holding the opposite army + a little bit of flanking + a cavalry charge in the rear (I use only 3 units usually) and most armies go into general rout in a matter of seconds/minutes.

Battles are fine, use the anilla submod if you need to.
