Source file not found: C:\RomaSurrectum 2\RS21.cab

I've tried downloading from every source provided. The game is not on my desktop and both RTW and RS are in a non (x86) folder.

    Can anyone give me help?

What happened when you downloaded the file?

Nothing all went fine when downloading from Strategyinformer. None of the other sites were working though. I downloaded them, placed ALL parts in a seperate folder outside the RTW directory while not being on my desktop. Installed clean version of R:TW (directory not in x86 or desktop) ran the installer from the group of downloaded files and got "cannot verify the first" file part.

Edit: Reinstalled everything, re-downloaded RS from Filefront. Got everything setup correctly. I did notice this time that my computer does not add .exe to the .exe RS setup so I did that and things started to work smoothly but the same issue happened with Data Cab 1 having "unverifiable information" and all that jazz...

    Try running as admin.
    Also, try running off desktop.
Do you have a consistent Internet connection or does it fail every now and then?

I'd suggest that it's not a good idea to add extensions to files as they probably have them already.

In Windows 7 I have the 'hide extensions of known file types' marked off - so I always see the file extensions. I've done similar under Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Yes but it was not there before and when I added it, the install seemed to work better. I'll try running off install and see if that gets me anywhere. Probably not...

Sorry if I'm being testy. I just really wanna play this great mod.

Edit: Tried moving the RS file cluster to the desktop to no avail. Ran the .exe as an administrator to no avail. I don't know what else there is to do.
Oh btw, the error code is 3205 if that matters.

Renaming it won't make a dIfference, it's still an exe either way.
Can you redownload rs21.cab please and replace the old one with it.

I didn't think that would do much and this proves it,

The image is not loading so this is what it says,
"the cabinet file 'RS22.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading form the CD-ROM, or a problem with the package."

    Definitely not a network error.

Keep in mind, this has happened with every site I downloaded from..

Well it fixed your original error. It allowed the installer to get the correct file.
This is a new error, you need to download just RS22.cab and replace the old file with this new one.

    Hmm..
all i can suggest is redownloading RS21, then making sure you replace the file with the new one. that seems to be what the error is suggesting.

Hmm, your .cab files for RS22 and RS23 are too small for a start, all 3 should be 512000kb.

Really now? Hmm, so my computer is definitely blocking something on the download process; wouldn't you say?

Either firewall (not so likely) or problems with internet connection dropping/general connection problems
