    Default having trouble with new video card

    i recently bought a nividia geforce 6600 gt and since i got it most of my games arnt working for instance when i play rtw i start a campain , then i start a battle and at the loading screen the game shuts off with no error message and when i play lotr the battle for middle earth the same thing happens but this time i get an error about direct x or sumthing plz help me i dont have a clue whats happening

    Ok did you install anything else at the same time as your graphics card, like motherboard etc..?
    Did you un-install the old drivers and use driver cleaner before installing your own?
    Since I have no info on the rest of your computer this is pretty much the help I can give you. Please post your full system spec like motherboard, CPU, RAM and sstuff like that.

    The RTW problem could be something wrong with the game, it will shutdown without a message if a file has been incorrecrtly edited or something like that.

    i dont no much about mother boards or anything else but i did uninstall the old drivers then i installed the new ones but i didnt use driver cleaner iam i supposed to ? i have direct x9.0c ive heard of people saying theres some faults in the version but iam not sure if its true

    You need to unstall old driver, then use Driver Cleaner to clean it, then you install driver.

    Download Driver Cleaner http://www.drivercleaner.net/

    Then follow the directions in the driver cleaner readme.
