commanding armies creates huge problems

So far I could not find a topic, so please help me. I have strange difficulty to command armies in the field. Played 6.2 before no problemo but now placing my warriors on battle field right mouse click move them into unwanted manoeuvring and sometimes even faces their asses towards the enemy. So far being fan since shogun 1 this mod its upsetting me. CTRL + they never do it right
